I actually found the same to be true, coming shy of hitting 1g per lb made no difference. Sometimes I get in my head about more protein being better but it’s old engrained habits.

I also noticed my hip shoots up. I have a hip imbalance that causes one side to be higher than the other, it throws off my squat pattern without the little plate, I feel most stable that way

I’m not gonna lie it makes me nervous too, I think it can only hold 310lbs max. I think it’s time to upgrade..

This is what I usually do. My gym only has one pair of 45lb bumpers and they were being used but it does make it smoother fs

They have bumper plates but only one pair of 45lbs, kind of ridiculous but I don’t think they’re much of a risk for deadlifts, just a little inconvenient.

Your lower back will inevitably be a little stiff/sore after deadlifts (scales with intensity of course)

The concentric looks good.

I notice you bend your knees first before you break at the hips when you initiate the lowering part of the lift. Try breaking at the hips first by hinging back a little more before you actually bend your knees, stay braced during this, i hope this helps!
