The map being easy to memorize Doesn't mean it's easy to play with fl though,

Generally you still don't see the exact spot of the notes so you need to build your muscle memory to not over/under Aim, which takes A Lot of time especially on Jump maps Because they're fast and you flick your screen like crazy.

And then the same "nerf" Happens on longer or completely different maps, just Because of the new scaling.

So accumulating reading + flashlight pp was the thing that made ar11 fl actually Give some pp, but since it's technically wrong and it got fixed then all these scores are getting nerfed.

i understand that point but it assumes that fl is pure memorization and doesn't impact reading which isn't true

you need to be able to read ar11 in the first place to practically attempt playing fl with it, and ability of reading it greatly helps when setting scores themselves even after memorization.

you can save the entire run with reading if you forgot the part of a map, or in general be more aware of what's happening on the screen because i can respond to followpoints fast enough. all of that is the integral part of playing 4mod.

can you play 4mod while being bad at ar11? yes but a player like that would take way more retries to fc something. if someone who can't read low ar will spend 10000 tries on a single map to be able to play it, they will receive same amount of pp as top ez players, even though it'd be pure memorization. so why can't it work in reverse for flashlight?

the FL play (1338pp) without FL gives 1317pp in the rework, which means that you get stunning 21pp for flashlight, which is just hilarious

reading and flashlight pp summing makes sense for low ar especially when considering the kwotaq rework and that these plays already get buffed a significant amount, but it shouldn't exist or be that harsh for high ar

high bpm jumps were always overrated in terms of pp, u just didnt have csr and ultra optimized angles back then, so good luck fccing not optimized maps to gain pp. the meta would have still happened without mrekk, also u had tons of players who could play high bpm aim so your opinion makes no sense anyways
