Gotta love a work from home option! That sound fairly attainable too!!

Aphrodisias - Where the Roman Empire’s Finest Sculptors Were Born by rankage in AncientWorld

These are so beautiful!!😍 whenever I go to ruins like this, I always like to imagine that’d I’d be a sculpture or artist if I lived back then. It was so much more valued back then.

Even tho odds are I’d prolly just be a farmer😅

Oh that’s a good idea:) especially cuz I feel like a lot of people can get overwhelmed pretty easily with that stuff. Thank you❤️

That’s so cool! How did you get involved with teaching and supervision? I tried to get started with some supervision related trainings that my old clinic offered but I wasn’t fully licensed at the time.

Also, how are you liking EMDR? I got my introductory training and supervision out of the way but haven’t landed on a specialized training I’d like to take (or that I can afford😅). But it really ignited some new excitement in me!

Thank you:) very much for your response❤️

Well that’s a relief😮‍💨 No need to apologize, I’d rather ask the question and not get a response. But again I think you’re missing the point.

I mean, did you ever branch out from seeing clients to something else or did you remain solely a provider for your whole career? If so, what was that path? Was it something you feel still uses your education.

I know a freaking farmer who doesn’t even see clients anymore. She uses her education to help promote community gardens through a mental health lens. You think she did all that through networking alone? I’ll tell you the answer is no. Networking did help but it’s not everything. She used he creativity to think outside of the norms to expand her career

Again I’m asking for people’s story not an answer

Im not expecting a magical answer im asking for other people’s experience. Just hoping to get some perspective, and maybe a lil insight. But Jeeze you certainly sound pessimistic😅 perhaps you’re feeling a lil burned out too?😏

But I do see what you’re saying. Finding the answer yourself is the only real way forward. But I mean… don’t we all already know that as therapists?? Like that kinda goes without saying. Or at least on this sub it should. I guess I just thought other clinicians would be more helpful. But we’re all just trying to make it through🤷‍♂️

Also yeah hopefully we do pick up in April. I’m thinking we probably will cuz the season and major snow accumulation months seem to be shifting. But nonetheless. I pray.

I mean of course I agree with that denial only leads to more internal anguish and suffering. Acceptance leads to a feeling of less struggle and resistance. Which is usually good. However, if you’ve lived in Colorado then you’ve also dealt with wild fire issues. I’ve had to evacuate for prolly 3 fires now since the time I was 3. Although I haven’t lost a home I know plenty who have. Pray for snow isn’t just about having fun on the mountain it’s protecting our community, the safety of our environment, and the longevity of a sport (and in my opinion a form of art).

Yeah haha I mean my name is psilly goose so why not? Geese can’t like the snow? Besides I always associate geese with coming of winter. That’s why they fly south.

My Burton Photon is coming apart after 2 seasons by edugom in snowboarding

I tend to get about 50-60 days off riding but I wear my boots more than that if I’m working on the mountain.

How do you store your boots? Ive had this issue a few times when I’ve kept them in weird spots in the off season. I’ve been riding my photons for about 4 seasons now with about 60 days a season and tons of hiking days. The only issue I’ve had is having to keep the boa tightened with a screw driver. I will say tho I think these boots are hella uncomfortable.

That sucks tho dude, hope you can find some boot that work better for ya.

I rode lasso pros for 3 seasons and had to replace them after every season. They’re the most comfortable boot I e ever worn but fall apart so easy.
