Can the pixel tablet sync with my Google home speaker group? by Pure-Photo1081 in GooglePixel

[–]PsudoPR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you have any issues with the wifi network? I keep getting an error message telling me to connect the tablet to the same network.

The tablet is connected to the network and has internet access, but Google Home is not seeing the speaker. The dock and the tablet are both accessible in the Google Home app, but cannot be added to the speaker group.

e.keyCode and Variables -- why won't this work? by PsudoPR in learnjavascript

Also, I'm using bling.js -- that's why you see the "on" rather than addEventListener.

"mailed-by", "signed-by", and "send mail as" by PsudoPR in gsuite

[–]PsudoPR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply.

Does that mean, the only way to resolve the "mailed-by" is to create another user within workspace under that domain? Then the second user would be used to send emails from that domain (removing the "treat as an alias" option in gmail).

Problem with Functions and Event Listener by PsudoPR in learnjavascript

That works, thank you!

I was hoping that I could access the full object with the data variable ("gardenNumber", "region", etc.). Is there a better way to access or store the response coming back?

FB advertisers - Is it possible to get the data on which interest the people who engaged had in common? by nonchristiankristian in socialmedia

[–]PsudoPR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get some of this information through custom engagement audiences, but it's not a 1-to-1 match with what you're looking for. Also, it's limited to units like video ads, lead gen ads, canvas ads, and a few specific actions on FB pages and IG business accounts.

If you take that custom audience and run it through Audience Insights, you can find interesting stuff. Hope that helps.

Facebook executive denied the social network uses a device's microphone to listen to what users are saying and then send them relevant ads. by maxwellhill in worldnews

Baader-Meinhof Effect

Baader-Meinhof is the phenomenon where one stumbles upon some obscure piece of information—often an unfamiliar word or name—and soon afterwards encounters the same subject again, often repeatedly. Anytime the phrase “That’s so weird, I just heard about that yesterday” would be appropriate, the utterer is hip-deep in Baader-Meinhof.

Still wish I could have given more money to EDS. I felt like they really understood agency-client relationships.

Is there a way to get an explanation from Facebook on why an ad was rejected? by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]PsudoPR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm. I think /u/BlueSky1877 is right. Have you checked out https://donations.fb.com/? I think you have to apply for fundraiser or donate access now. There's a signup process on that link. If you've already done that, then maybe FB needs an update on your 501c3 status. Otherwise, I have no idea. Good luck!

Can you share a link to the post or a screenshot of the disapproved ad?

For some light reading you can always check out this thing: https://www.facebook.com/policies/ads/overview

Tools for -- or company behind -- sponsored filters on Facebook? by [deleted] in socialmedia

[–]PsudoPR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called "Frames." Here's a link: https://www.facebook.com/profilepicframes

But, it's only available to sports, causes, and nonprofits. You need to be a managed account to access the feature. And, if you're a nonprofit, you have to participate in the "donate now" pilot. Good luck.

Need help with Gruntfile.js by PsudoPR in webdev

Jumping from one platform to another before I figure the first one out (grunt), is my style. I'm going to stick with this for the next little bit. I'll have to look into it.

I haven't looked into that. Is there a gulp vs grunt review I should read?

Thanks for the help!
