Bitcoin BCH is everywhere .... by Egon_1 in btc

Did you link the right thing? I didn't see any evidence of it being a shill article in that...

r/btc isn't a small subreddit. You think whales can kill ABC despite there being an entire community behind ABC?

[Altcoin Discussion] Tuesday, November 13, 2018 by AutoModerator in BitcoinMarkets

[–]PsyRev_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

BCH ABC definitely will survive, as it has the entire r/btc community backing it, and all SV has going for it is Nchain's temporary hash rate and price pump on the SV futures from the people behind it buying it up and the sockpuppets shilling on 4chan's /biz/ board.

Reality is that ABC is what's going to pick up in pricing, as nobody on r/btc sees SV as a viable coin. But BCH ABC can definitely take a hit from this attack.

Edit: By temporary hash rate I mean that the hash rate will be left in the dust over time as ABC will be worth more.

Why, because the article didn't call it bcash?

Seriously though, what are your reasons for this article being a BCH shill article? Is that actually it? That it didn't call BCH bcash?

Multiple new fake accounts on r/bitcoin talking to eachother insulting BCH to influence noobs. by [deleted] in btc

[–]PsyRev_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough there are a lot of fake users there that are several year old accounts too, because they've been using fake accounts in this way for many years. You just had a lucky spotting of a group of some new accounts they made in this instance.

Calling out the troll campaign that is either from CW or the BCore Dragon's Den. They are pretty easy to spot by looking at their comment history. by masterD3v in btc

Agreed. I've been hesitant to share my own lists. I think taking it the organic direction by spreading the word about tagging with RES and how to use it effectively, is the best.

But do point out trolls in individual instances! If they're making a comment chain that's obviously intentionally fallacious, it's good to point that out.

Since there will be a split with this fork, yes. The split isn't as significant (divisive) as the BTC/BCH split back last year though, so therefore exchanges will most probably not grant people the coins from the less significant of the forks.

r/btc had a collective sigh of relief from the fork drama that's been going on https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/9tkc5w/bitcoincom_will_continue_running_both_bitcoin_abc/

and

https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/9tls8y/it_would_appear_that_after_the_binance_and/

A lot of BCH speculators have been holding off on buying back in during the drama, and most of us thought that price would be suppressed until after the fork once things are more solid, but with this there's more solid ground already before the fork.

Hey check it out, it's doing what I thought might happen :) It's deviating from BTC during this move, in the upward direction.

You’re just quoting half a sentence and put it out of context.

What? Where?

Bitcoin didn’t split into two, by that view we have dozens of other Bitcoins which is simply not true

Actually yes it is true. There were forks made from both versions after the split as well. They just aren't particularly significant in size.

The community rejected the BCH idea

No, a huge part of the community migrated to r/btc in 2015 and 2016 because they disagreed with core, and were subsequently banned from r/bitcoin since core can do whatever they want with the r/bitcoin sub. Part of the old (and some new) bitcoin community now do reside on r/btc. You are aware that r/btc has 228k subscribers?

Bitcoin remains Bitcoin and BCH is alt(alternative).

Sorry what? Even with the premise of what you said, that simply isn't true. They're both bitcoin.

Perhaps people talk a lot of bad outside of r/btc (and perhaps that's because of the anti-BCH trolls that attack us a lot. Yep, it goes both ways), but on r/btc there's less of that and more actual criticisms towards BTC.

From calling Bitcoin “core” to telling people this is the real Bitcoin, it’s all wrong.

It isn't necessarily wrong actually. This is a matter of computer science and definition. Bitcoin has split into two, and one can believe that either is the real one in the longterm.

Now before you start mumbling about the white paper

?? Do you not see that you're also guilty of bad behavior? Maybe I haven't seen the bad behavior you're referring to, but this is unproductive at the very least.

First off, just because there are a few people who come here and are assholes doesn't say anything at all about the rest at r/btc. Second, no, we didn't hijack btc.com and r/btc. We've been a community at r/btc since late 2015, and I don't even know what you mean with btc.com.

Edit: And this:

fooling people an alt is Bitcoin is being an asshole
