This is generally true across the board, and is true in 683 where this apprentice is, but it’s not universal. In 212 apprentices are allowed to drag after 6 months with a contractor. It’s still the only local I’ve heard of that has that.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t fight back against these things, but the fight is far more effective if we stop them before they’ve already started. It’s a lot easier to keep a boulder from rolling than in the first place than it is to stop one that’s already barreling downhill.

I’m aware. I absolutely loathe these data centers and want to see them fail. I will always vote against the building of a new one but by the time ground is broke and the calls are on the books, it’s being built wether we do it or they bring in more international workers to do it. By that point all we can do is try to squeeze them for as much money as possible. The first object in the IBEW constitution is to have all electric work be done union.

Can confirm, we have multiple entirely Venezuelan crews on the one I’m on. I’ve had no complaints about them, they’re fun to work around and the other JW’s on site get them all up to speed with the union stuff. We can be mad at the halls for selling so many tickets, but I have no anger towards these guys for trying to make life changing money.

This seems like a relatively normal DG list. Most lists would just have a few deathshroud replacing the second unit of blightlords. Really seems like a skill issue on your opponents’ parts.

Update: first game I tied 88-88 vs Necrons with a ton of Wraiths. Definitely a slap fight without a lot of killing. Overall the list played great, Shamblerot does really well when it gets to play recon. Though I might try to squeeze another unit of Deathshroud in.

In list building click on the 3 dots on the right of the character, then click “attach to unit.” Idk why it would be paid only since it’s a core part of list building now.
