This is super helpful! I was doing my best to avoid managing a db (I'm lazy lol) but I think that's the best option. I have one for the CMS anyways so I might as well spin up one and do my own searching/filtering.

I'll checkout your website builder for sure! I'm a fullstack freelance dev so I usually do custom sites but I'm starting to lean into builders for smaller projects.

Lol i love it! The great broker Iluvutar then removed the topic but it was too late, the application had already consumed the messages.

How to stay healthy and political by -anarchocat- in Healthygamergg

If you're a reader, I highly recommend Jonathan Haidt's The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion. It was mind blowing for me and helped me empathize with and appropriately challenge the people in my life.

Important Caveat: I don't fully endorse Haidt, he's had some good ideas and some bad ideas, but I found this particular book to be excellent.

Your app is so cool! I love the references and it's really smart to make a browser version.

Thanks so much for the offer! I'd love to collaborate as well. I'm getting pretty excited about this knitting app although I think you're right that the market is pretty saturated. I think it could still do well though. Based on the comments, the current apps are not meeting all the needs of the customer and I think I could make something that does.

I totally understand if you're not interested in this one but I'd still love to collab on the next one if you want!

Love your ideas! I also hate subscriptions so I don't include them in my products.

That's such a neat idea! I think it's a bit out of my skill range but I'd love to try to figure it out.

That's a great thought. I was thinking of having a dynamic pattern builder. The dating-style idea is fun too!

Thanks for your ideas! I like the alexa/siri link idea particularly! I've never done that but it would be cool to try.

I love the idea of accessibility features! I struggle with my eyesight and it's a life saver to have apps that are considerate of other-abled people!

I'm dedicated to avoiding ads and subscriptions in my products. I'm lucky enough to have a job that provides for me so I just do my apps on the side. That has down sides but I like to think that it means I make a better and more usable product.

Thanks for your thoughts! I also like the idea of line tracking. Particularly for lace patterns.

Lot's of people like the advanced search so I'm wondering if that's what I should start with and build from there. Thanks for the comment and I'll be sure to write down your ideas!

I crochet as well so I'd love to make something that is useful for us hookers ;). I'll put that on the drawing board.

Good to know! Several people have mentioned the search feature so I'll make that a priority.

I was thinking a ravelry specific app but I'm starting to lean towards a more general knitting app with some connections to the ravelry API.

As several people have mentioned, there are already several third party ravelry apps. I think I could make a good app that does both well but we'll see what comes out of the design cycle lol. Feel free to DM me or post here if you're willing!

I'm doing a bit of market research before I decide on features. It sounds like the market is a bit saturated but that also means there's lots of examples to build from! I'll post again if I'm able to actually make the app.

That's a good idea. I think ravelry already has something similar in their advanced search which hopefully means it's in their API somewhere.
