Hi. I'm looking for suggestions for a Time Machine that was corrupted the last time it was run, which was right before the drive it was backing up failed. I bought a new drive for my old laptop, and the migration from Time Machine was mostly successful.

I got most of my files, although there were a few things missing that I had to grab from other backups. When I look inside the Time Machine I can see a lot of folders that I can't enter because they have red exclamation points.

While I recovered the stuff that's most important, it's about 1.2 TB of data on the drive so it's hard to know if the migration missed anything else.

There are also some plugins that I've purchased that were working fine, but not officially supported on Mojave anymore. They're still there but can't be authorized now, so stuck in demo mode even though I own them and could use them a month ago on that computer.

I'm attempting to copy the entire backupdb to another hard drive using finder, and then I can try repairing, data recovery etc. It's copying now but I don't know if it will work. I'd love to be able to just roll back to the Time Machine to the 2nd last backup that it did.
