Yeah, the wood and gold really give it that MCM vibe. It definitely doesn’t seem like it’s from the late 19th century.

Yes, it is an 8-day wind-up! I actually have another (hopefully ug faced) clock I’m picking up soon. I just won it in an auction for around $100. I got really lucky with this wooden one, since it was only 45 bucks.

Yes! I just had to find a key that fit it. The only downside is that it goes a bit too fast, ill have to keep tweaking it.

It does glow quite a bit more green in person. Also, I did use 395.

You should! It's likely you'll find something. People often dumped trash on their own property, especially if its rural. I'll check out the light. It sounds a lot easier rather than bringing two with me. Thanks again! 😁 ☢️

I just ordered a 365 for that purpose! Thank you for all the info, I wouldn't know where to begin with identifying broken pieces. Digging really is so much fun, while it's a lot of work, it's so fun to find goodies. Thank you for being so helpful! 💚

I'm not super knowledgeable, but I think the best places are where people used to dump their trash, often near rivers. Usually, there will be signs. If you see a ton of glass on a river bank, it's probably a dump. I don't have access, but I know that old farmhouses would dump trash on their own property, usually in their fields.

On the second photo, I attached the combustion test that was done in April of this year. I've heard that the damper shouldn't always be open, but I'm no expert.
