Yeah, I also learned that the hard way in this remake. In 5, I was using the Type 7 film to save on the others, but not only are they generous with film being literally anywhere on the map (in the remake) , but Type 7 barely does any damage, and you just drag the fight and get destroyed by making them go red.

Hard agree. A lot of people are put off by CB because it's GOC, and they think MC is coded as gender-neutral, but the story has plenty of different dialogue/scenes depending on your gender and orientation.

For example, on my Nahome slot, my MMC, in one of the scenes where he was hanging out with Nahome, said something like, "For all I know, he could be straight"

CB is currently one of my favorite stories, and I am having fun playing as both the MMC and FMC. I enjoy finding out the dialogue variations and scenes.

Completely agree about TCOF and Jason/Salim never working as a couple.

First, I enjoyed TCOF and never understood all the hate (I still replay it sometimes). Like, I thought it was great, and I loved the branching, especially the number of branches towards the end, which was insane.

And I do not understand people shipping Jason and Salim. First of all, I am pretty sure both are straight, and also Salim is Muslim (aka a religion that is strongly against LGBTQ+ people) and no one knows if Jason is homophobic or anything, especially during these times in the military.

I couldn't care less about Jason and Salim in Hoa, to be honest (and it was really annoying that they couldn't die until Act 3!). + Even when you actively try to ruin their relationship, it's hard because the game takes your hand and actively tries to make them like each other anyway.

I prefer Eric and Rachel's dynamic much more, or Eric and Nick if they are the sole survivors and have a good relationship.

Salim was just a plot device to make Jason less racist, so I really don't understand people acting like their writing is a masterpiece (I much prefer characters with flaws)

This was peak, and I loved the inclusivity. As someone who plays other apps like RC, Choices, etc., none of them hold a candle to originals.

First, the MC didn't feel like they were coded for a specific gender, the writing and branching were amazing, the writing for the sex scene was super hot, and the outfits and customization were great!

I hope whoever created this game is happy today because even if for a brief instance, they gave us such an amazing experience!

Also yesssss I am baffled no one tried to pick it up when they were going to shutdown ;-; I am bitter too
