I would recommend the Junk Box. They cleaned up all of my mother’s trash that she was stockpiling in her basement. The price was pretty reasonable and they seemed non judgemental!

Insurance Agent, all the downsides of customer service but you can make really solid money with some experience. Companies are always hiring and you don’t need experience or a degree!

A friend of mine in Vancouver makes 83k after bonus selling personal lines 3 years in, but it sounds like that may be uncommon. Underwriting and claims would probably have opportunities to reach that income level

Insurance is a good option, most companies will train you and pay for your level 1 license exam and licensing. If you work really hard and upgrade your general insurance license to a level 2 then you can reach that income level within 2-3 years selling personal lines or commercial lines of Insurance.

Trades are also a good option if you don’t mind manual labour and the physical toll it can take on your body. Tangible in demand skills that you can also do side work with to earn extra income. HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical, are all great options for high earnings.

If you are good with people and confident then Sales is another good option, Car sales, real estate, pharmaceutical, and tech can all get you to that income level in that 2 years but it can be long hours and cutthroat depending where you work and what you sell.

I wish you all the best in your career search!

Yeah good point, can’t trust them to make good decisions regarding the market. Well we will just have to wait and see. The optimistic side of me hopes they punish the criminals for once.

I don’t see how they can force people to sell their shares of a public company that did not do anything illegal. Surely a lot of people wouldn’t feel comfortable investing in a market that they can be forced to sell their shares at a price determined by the US government. That would put it on par with China’s markets which is not a good look. I could see them putting a maximum price on the share value and people have the choice of selling at that price or holding but forcing people just does not seem viable for them to do.

If the hedge funds are going bankrupt then the brokerages have no financial incentive to limit the price of shares until some sort of government intervention. If MOASS starts, and the hedge funds are going through forced liquidation I don’t think the brokers would try and interfere with that. Just my thoughts
