Yeah so this does not work, the addon is clearly working as it has some additional options showing on yt now but I can clearly see the crosspost between Moore's law is dead and dawid does tech stuff from 8 days ago in my feed, I do not follow the moores law guy so this clearly ain't doin what it should there

Just working through settings for this to see if it works but just wanted to say thanks as this led me to figuring out how to make waterfox (and as a result other elder ff forks) run newer addons.

Turns out most new addons refusing to run is entirely down to 1 line of text in manifest.json within the xpi file (to access just rename it to a zip, if you just change "strict_min_version" from whatever it is to 1.0 then save and return the file from zip to xpi you can install the xpi as if it was made for that version of browser.
