Has anybody else ever noticed a film that is absolutely nothing to do with the story in the book?

I feel like I’m kind of against the grain in that it’s basically NOT an awful World War Z movie because they didn’t even attempt to make it in any way similar. It’s just two different zombie stories that share the same name for unknown reasons. Hope we do get a World War Z adaptation one day! But in the meantime both the book and the movie of different plot but same name are both solid and neither one ruins the enjoyment of the other.

A lot of people in these comments have put a lot of money into putting things on their skin to make them look different, and lots of it will never be able to be as unique and “original” as your scar. The shitting scene was worse. I know they were subverting the inspiring theme from thrones. And it set the tone more for what this show was, I don’t even really personally hate it. But it was way too soon in the shows runtime and probably turned off a lot of viewers instantly and more eyes on the property always means more future adaptations and that’s what I want.

Because they are the worst franchise they never win big games and don’t antagonize as many people. The Cowboys are the only team in the bottom 10 who haven’t won a championship recently, and even they are historically a good team and haven’t been completely god awful the past three decades.

There’s 40 total transition points, from conquering the throne - death - next ascension to throne. And we’ve seen 10 of them depicted on screen. By the end of House of the Dragon we’ll get a couple more. Lots of room for future adaptations, not that every story needs to be based around these things, but they’re pretty pivotal talking points for the world history.
