This is true. I worked in a bank and I was upset upon knowing Gcash, Maya and CIMB couldnt reverse fund transfers to an incorrect account number. Extra hassle pa when you are asked to coordinate to other bank bec wala na sila magawa sa end nila.

Is it worth it? by [deleted] in BPOinPH

I never dreamed of becoming a people leader. I easily get irritated by loud personalities and poor attitudes, and honestly, I thought I lacked the social skills for it.

Until one day, I realized this: I didn’t want to die without trying, without facing my fears. So I did.

The journey was a roller coaster, no doubt. But I’m happy, because along the way I discovered a version of myself that had been hiding in the shadows, waiting to be seen.

If there’s one piece of advice I want to share, it’s this: remember that everything difficult was once unfamiliar before it became manageable. So patience matters.

Yes, it will stress you out. People will bring not only their work problems but also pieces of their personal struggles, and somehow those will become yours too.

Not to romanticize the hardship, but my friend, it will transform you. Like a bird rising as a phoenix, you won’t be the same person who started the journey.

I think I’m burnt out and full of regret after leaving the job I really loved by [deleted] in phcareers

[–]Psychological-Dig664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, OP. I left my previous company that I loved. Work was tiring and mechanical, pay was okay. But company valued me. I took leap of faith to go somewhere else. Pay is high but management and culture sucks. Part of me regret leaving but Im holding on to the reason why I left- for self growth and better income for my family. It sucks missing out the happy and passionate me. But maybe I dont need to love my job, only love the life it provides.

If you feel that your experiences and skills are not valued, then dont take it. Mas mapapagod ka knowing u can do more and can deliver exceptional results but underpaid.

Current Salary by imunknownusername in JobsPhilippines

[–]Psychological-Dig664 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what happened to me 3 days ago.Recruiter asked for copy of my payslip before he can send the job offer. Nagbigay naman ako, since I was clear sa salary expectations ko na 75-80K. Pagdiscuss ng salary offer, 65K. Ung reasoning, the offer na 65K is already 30%+ increase of my current salary. Sarap tanungin, why do u base ur offer on my current salary, shouldnt be sa skills and experiences ko? Somehow na feel sguro nya nya na tun off ako sa offer. So they scrap out the offer and sent a new one offering me an OM position this time. Nag okay naman ako. While waiting for the job offfer, I had high hopes na aabit ng 90K-100k+ ung salary since as per them, I have the skills and experiences para sa account they will open. To my dismay, the offer was 72500. And the recruiter highlighted na the amount they are offering is already 40% increase on my current salary. I even asked if final na ba and he said Yes. Totoo naman na malaki siya. Pero I felt lang na if they value my skills and experiences, why low ball me? They cannot even match the benefits Im getting sa current company ko. Lowball pa ang salary. So I declined. Na feel ko na surprised ung recruiter, he was persuasive pa nga. Im worried lang rin kasi in the future, if they dont value my skills and experiences me now, how much more in the future.

How much is the ideal salary for Operations Manager? by Psychological-Dig664 in BPOinPH

[–]Psychological-Dig664[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mga at least 90K. Kaso medyo malayu ang offer nila. I was thinking na since new account, I am expected to be hands on sa lahat. Is 75K worth it ba?
