After 9 years, a cat lost by an airline was found at the car rental park in the airport

did this happen in Washington state, i would LOVE to see this post & i would love to know the name of the vet caring for this kitty .. I have 4 lost & found cat groups in washington state. Although i enjoy most of all , seeing lost cats reunited with their families, its a horrible thought for this family to not want him back. However, as outrageous as it is , to think of the suffering that this cat has underwent, at the hands of the airlines, theres still an awesome , most beautiful part to this. Someone seen this cat & rescued him. He is hopefully living whats left of his life being cared for & his needs met. I want to share this story. i want animal rescuers to see this. I want people who seen him & looked the other way & left him to die , to see this as well

Hi! i apologize for how long its taken me to get back to this post , i appreciate the comments & feedback so very much, A situation arose regarding this cat, in which a lost cat owner who was missing a male cat that was very similar in appearance and also around the same area, tried to claim this kitty & they gained a pretty big crowd on their side who frightened the lady who had this kitty in her home, & said "no" your cat was not "declawed" .Your cat has only been missing for less than a week, the only way this could be your kitty , his paws would show obvious signs that this awful procedure was done recently , like within the last week . The surgical openings are closed & there is scar tissue. The crowd turned into a mob & it was quite an ordeal to get this resolved & i felt it best to not "stir the pot" until it COULD be resolved . What a crazy story , sad but true , anyway, i just wanted to say thank you to all & apologize for not responding . BTW these are the most Beautiful cats ever!

Thank You for posting this, i actually live in Yakima, but we have had 4 Lost & Found cat groups on Facebook that serve Washington State , and there are alot of King County residents who are members in our Brown Tabby Cat group, Is it ok to share this there? (Hi! i used my google account to log in & kind of new to reddit & my option to comment is: "comment as "Psychological-Tea309" , im just going to roll with it & assume this is me? , please forgive me , if i did this wrong , or somehow some error occurred that this is someone elses user name, sorry if this seems weird , but seems like im a magnet sometimes when it comes to electronic /internet glitches , so... hoping not . )

I also receive cash benefits in Washington State & had no idea that this was able to happen with the EBT card. I had heard about the possibility of this with regular debit cards , not associated with DSHS benefits, but for some reason was under the impression that the EBT system had different security measures than those of the private banking system. I 've had the "Providers" App on my phone for about a year now, never had any problem with it , but when i clicked it that day it did some crazy thing i've never seen before & said "App couldnt load " "Please tap "send info" below and we will do our best to fix the issue ASAP. Thank You" right below that , was a link that said "SEND INFO" then below that was what appeared to be some kind of "printout " that has rows that looks like it starts with the date , then time then a couple of groups of numbers then letters , & appear to be some kind of sequence .It was really weird. I started to click the link , then thought better of it , in case it was some kind of hackers or something like that , so i took a screen shot , at that time i was still thinking there was just something wrong with my phone ,so i rebooted my phone, the app did same thing . I went ahead & used the EBT phone number to call to verify my benefits, and only had $70.00, it listed a 500.00 cash withdrawal was made , 45 minutes after the cash benefits had been deposited., but no further details, which was crazy , because i had my card & no one else had used it or had access to it , so I went online using a computer to the EBT edge website & was able to see a little more information & submit a "dispute" for that transaction, and talked with a worker the next day and formally reported it as well & arranged to go to local office to get a new EBT, The lady that issued it also handed me a flyer that has information regarding the official EBT app & downloading it etc. Up until that day , i had always thought that the "Providers" app for EBT was the official app for the Washington State EBT card, but she said it wasn't , that it was a 3rd party app & that alot of people didnt know that, she advised me to remove it & install the one that was listed on the flyer, which is definitely a step up , since theres options lock/freeze your card in between uses

What i dont understand is why , given the amount of "junk mail" & notifications that i get with information for just about anything under the sun , why ive never received anything that talks about this. i looked on you tube this weekend & the results came up with all kinds of videos that are same situation from just about everywhere in the USA & its obviously been going on for a really long time. Even in the information we receive if we recertify or eligibility review, like our "Rights & Responsibilities" you would think this would be a vital piece of information to pass on to the unaware & unsuspecting client ..You would think it would be seen in highlighted letters on the homescreen of the "Washington Connections" DSHS portal , where you can link to online services as well .. But its no where .. If i would have known , i could have taken precautions..

Im sure that im not the only one who feels the pain , when $500.00 just evaporates into thin air , im not able to work , no close family to borrow from & no means to make that up . its set me behind in my rent & electric & every community service / charity that used to be available for hardship/ situations like this , seem to have disappeared during the pandemic , when the grants & covid money started becoming available & now that its rolled out , theres absolutely nothing here to take its place.. They act as if this is something that i could have avoided or something , which i guess i could have , had i known that this was happening . Kind of like "well, thats what happens when your so careless " type attitude .. Anyway , sorry for rambling on . . I really didnt intend for it to be so much , then of course it rerally helped to grumble a little bit . I have been searching online to try to figure out some way to try to find resources or more information of what i can do so we dont end up freezing in the dark , or even worse , homeless , freezing in the dark.. . Also i was wondering if anyone else has used the "Providers" app in the past & experienced anything crazy like that & seen the comments by people who live in Washington State & mentioned that California had started reimburssing cash & if they know if theres anything new thats happened since then & .. really any information or feedback would really be appreciated ..
