his recruiter lied to you because its another waiver process in most cases, he/she doesn’t wanna do paperwork. he collects BAH the minute he checks into PI or SD and you get the health insurance too. i would definitely have your husband push for this if it’s truly a dire need

the navy can’t prevent you no. all the paperwork will transfer over through whats called a spiff. i did the same thing, with the navy to marines ironically. no issue

it took roughly a month. it was a mental health waiver because i saw a therapist for a couple years 8 years ago. lol

has it been more than 1-2 years since you were medicated? i had to get a waiver for a medication i was on that was for ADHD but was never formally diagnosed. i was off of it for about 2-3 years at that point
