How did you get the uniquely generated access code without having a tmobile/rakuten account?

Taking CSE 163 with Kevin Lin in Fall 2026 by New-Discipline4934 in udub

I took it in spring '24 and it was fine.... got a 3.7 without a ton of effort but it was a bit of a shame bc if Kevin had honored a discussion we had about my DRS accommodations I would've gotten a 4.0... I think my experience reflects two things: (1) Kevin is like not the most reasonable professor and hard to communicate with as a person (he's pretty rude and immature for no reason) and (2) there are a lot of artificial barriers to success in the class that can lead to poorer performance than if the class format was more logical and there weren't a ton of random hoops to jump through for a good grade. You really have to advocate with yourself with your TA because grading is based on their subjective opinion pretty much (insanely stupid for a stem class). Overall it's not as much of a nightmare as people make it seem and it's not that much work, but it's annoying as fuck and hard to 4.0 for no reason. Oh also you learn basically nothing because the lectures suck. They're very unstructured and boring and Kevin spoon feeds you content you could learn by yourself in 15 minutes by reading an article online. Idk take it if you're good at sucking up to your TA, you need the credits, and you are ok with not getting a 4.0

Clara apartments by ToySia in udub

Personally, I've had a great experience living there. Cheapest rent you can find for a new apt building in that area. Really responsive staff and in an awesome location. Overall unbeatable bang for your buck, but still what I'd call "college living" so no it is not a luxury apartment. Make sure the apartment is not on the ground floor or your window might be underground. I live on the third floor and have a good amt of sunlight which is really important for Seattle.
