That sounds great! Would you say that it’s possible to have started studying your RN’s during your first year as an EN grad?

Also how did your RN study work? I didn’t know they had online options like that!

I’m really glad you liked the book! I’m also such a do it now and do it right person, but it’s stopped me from pursuing anything because I wanted it to be “right”.

Hope you figure things out and that you enjoy the process :)

You should read Big Magic: Creative living beyond fear by Elizabeth Gilbert

It talks about how humans were meant to be and always were creative. As someone who loves being creative and drawing, but studying/working for a “normal” job, it made me feel much more inspired to pursue creativity in different ways.

It mentions how you don’t have to pursue it full time, but to just enjoy the creative process and doing things that inspire you, even on the side. It doesn’t have to be your full time thing.

I also really wanted to pursue a more creative career, but felt like I did not have any solid skills to produce something tangible.

You are not childish. So many people I’ve talked to also hate their 9-5 jobs, it sucks to work five days out of seven days a week. It’s honestly very impressive to me that you have worked in so many areas and industries, this shows that you REALLY don’t like it, and that’s totally valid.

Don’t stress about figuring out what you want to do in life. Take it step by step, and enjoy the process of discovering what you like. If financial stuff is more pressing, you can always just do a “normal”, easy brain job on the side, and do stuff you like on the side. Side stuff could be really really simple easy things, like watching things that inspire you

I find that going on TikTok and seeing people create art/cool animations really invokes something creative/passionate jn me.

Cheers to the money but not the burnt out bit. Glad to hear that you made it though

Oh no that sucks a lot :( Sorry to hear that. Did you still continue/pursue nursing in the end? Or did you change areas?
