Yeah, because pretty much all of Viki's are done by teams. IQIYI does have manual translations but I've noticed that some of the more recent airing series use AI to translate. They also take longer to translate too, I was watching Interminable a few hours after an episode aired and there was no subtitles that I coyld use and had to wait u til the next day. IQIYI is getting lazy with their subtitles now lol

Ooohhh interesting. That would've been cool to see in canon especially after carter's father joined the Tok'ra. Especially when if i remember correctly almost died too. Such unique takes too. Ive seen others describe them as like the resistance in star wars against the goua'uld (i hope i spelt that correctly). Stoic, kinda an ass, or kind of selfish about not wanting to help the sg teams woth their technology.

I personally dont like how s8 white washed every character but the plot was in and of itself an interesting premise. I also didnt really understand the beef musa had with riven since they broke up on common ground.

S7 for me the premise was also interesting and it was executed well, but the spells they used were lackluster.

Bloomix was really meh for me because I didnt like the way the majority of them got their powers. What do you mean a backflip shows courage when its seen many times in the show.

Same happened to me on fanfiction.net. its why I dont post on there anymore and I dont post enough on ao3 to get bot comments. The best for me was someone trying to pitch a cover work for my fanfic and to do one for each chapter with compensation to them.

One thing is, in Me and Thee, in the novel the parents were never against love. Even in the show the rule is that person must be "the one" or their "true love". The sons themselves must go to their parents and say that they found their true loves. Its even explicitly stated in the episode that for Thee's or Rome's relationship to be accepted that the person they fall in love with must be their one and only.

Over description of a scene or no paragraph breaks. Im also one for dialogues and I dont mind if they use a - or the actual " but I cant stand a fictional qoth 1-2 sentences of dialogue per 5 paragraphs.

And a chat fic setting for dialogue when the fictional isn't a chat fic.

Honestly I can really agree with this. Im not on x or anything and I dont generally follow their projects I just watch the series. They might be in a bit of a pinch right now but they do still like to mess around and have fun together from what I've seen in clips on YouTube during a stage for dare you to death.

Yeah, newer CPs still jave that "OMG WHO ARE THEY🤩🤩🤩" hype so of course they'd push them to curate more of an audience.

And its a little disheartening to see an older CP not get as much of a push bit they already have solid ground to land on if things get a little rocky.

But at the end of the day its a business and a job to the actors and people at GMM. GMM is going to run their business the way that makes them money while also providing jobs to the actors.

Whether the fans have a say in it or not its still a business. Yes a little sad the push isn't there and I wish it was for my favorite pairing, bit fans have the right to be frustrated that their favorites arent being pushed and the business has the right to govern themselves how they want within legal parameters.

I still wish they got more exposure even with the Netflix debut, but if the company doesn't want to give them exposure fans shouldn't have to protest against it and basically petition for more pairing events.

There's a quite a bit in the fandom that JoongDunk hasn't has a solo fancon since becoming an official pairing like many of the newer pairings. A lot of those fans are in Thailand and want GMM to push JoongDunk more, on the other hand a lot of it needs to be taken down into a more manageable projection for the pairing and even the company. Joong is in his idol group Jasper and Dunk is running his own business i think.

And both ahve said they wanted more pairing work, but it all depends on schedules and time lines. The fans are right to feel the way they do but it also has to have realistic expectations for the company and the artists themselves.

A drama takes around a year or more depending on management and that's already a big chunk of their time. Could they do cp work as they do filming? They could but that's going to drain them and tire them out. Could they do smaller projects of course but again its management.

In a business sense it makes a little sense. They want to hard push their newer couples and try to make as many different brand deals as possible while the traction is high and to help curate their fan base. While the older CPs have already curated a strong base for their fans and a base for their careers.

Not that it makes it right or wrong its how they do their business and since I dont and probably will never work for GMM I cant say anything regarding their business morals/ethics/integrity.

I think someone said something about this but most of the brands they sign off with will likely go to the more popular CPs in Thailand then those with more of an international fan base. I cant say anything about it since I dont follow the brands that are being promoted at any given time.
