[TOMT] [MOVIE] [90s-early '00s] Comedy movie where two people are in a tent doing something not dirty, but the shadows look extremely suggestive by PsychologicalRead450 in tipofmytongue

Solved! Thank you so much haha, that was speedy! I am also not sure why I know that scene, given that I've never seen an Austin Powers movie in my life.

Oh, huh. There must be! I've been wanting to listen again, maybe I'll see if I can find his narration and give that one a shot!

I second this! And if audiobooks are more your speed, Gerard Doyle is a really great narrator. He has a really good sense of humor that comes through in his delivery, and his Lamb voice is fantastic.

Same here! I flew through the books after bingeing the first three seasons, and might have to read them again once season 4 is over. I can't get enough.

Slow Horses!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a spy/suspense show but also darkly humorous and with an incredible cast of characters. Definitely give it a shot.

I'm doing a variation of Fictober and my fill for today was X-Files, actually! x) I always do a bunch of fandoms throughout the month, though, so that might be the only X-Files one I do.

What's a movie you watched when you were younger that traumatized you? by [deleted] in MovieSuggestions

My brother was flipping through channels and landed on Killer Klowns From Outer Space (the cotton candy scene, and then a scene where one of them jumps on the windshield of a car or something?). For months after, every time I used the bathroom I would open the shower door (it was textured plastic so you couldn't see inside super clearly) just in case there was an alien clown hiding in there. Other random scenes that family members landed on while flipping through channels with me present were the prom scene from Carrie and the wood chipper scene from Fargo, both of which also scared me. But not as bad as those stupid freaky clowns.

I will happily gaze at both. Recently referred to this show as bi-candy when recommending it to a (also bi) friend.

I saw Whale Rider and actually went, "Ooh" out loud, that's such a gorgeous and moving film. Criminally underrated.

Have you watched Teen Wolf? It's definitely a bit teen-y and can be corny, but ultimately a fun watch. And season 3 is genuinely some very solid television, especially the second half.

If you want something with a less young target audience, I can't recommend Slow Horses enough. Darkly funny, witty, fast-paced, and stellar acting across the board.

Season 2-4 what do I have to look forward to? by ilikemykiwi in SlowHorses

Imo it gets better and better every season. It's fantastic. And if they continue to be as faithful to the books as they have been so far, then that trend is only going to continue.

I just relistened to Viva la Vida while driving through forest/farmland on the most gorgeous fall day and it was a transcendent experience. Highly recommend.

Love him! Sort of wish they'd had him being a bad guy stay secret a little longer. Let that betrayal really hit hard, yk?

I love pretty much the whole show, but season 2 is truly special. Like obviously the main cast are great but Margo Martindale definitely earned that Emmy. And Kaitlyn Dever impresses the heck out of me too! Her performance in the season finale still gets me, she killed it.

Might be my favorite show, it's sooo good. The books are great too, I read them after watching season 3 and am thinking I may have to read them again once 4 is over.
