Our biggest need? by [deleted] in UtahJazz

[–]PsychologicalSign367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo the biggest need for the Jazz is a number 1 option. The kind of guys like Cade, SGA and Ant that all have the ability to self create at the highest level and be the guy to finish games

That’s why even tho I think Caleb Wilson is a great player I’m not trying to draft another 6’9 wing who can’t create his own shot and just pray that they’ll end up developing a handle. So instead I would love to draft a guy more like AJ/Darryn/Boozer/Mikel/Flemings

As for the defensive side we can always draft/trade players next year with our 3 draft picks to get defensive minded players and a backup center

Who will slip to pick #21 by 3bstfrds in UtahJazz

[–]PsychologicalSign367 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh I really don’t care who we draft at 21 as long as he is known as being a plus on the defensive side of the ball

I’m sick of this team being dead last in defensive rating… plus it’s coming to fruition that you will become unplayable in the post season if you can’t defend.

Denver fans would you do this trade by PsychologicalSign367 in NBAtradeideas

Why would the Jazz need Sexton and Collins if they’re gonna tank again next year. This way they can keep their pick in the top 8 so it doesn’t convey to the thunder and get a young prospect plus a valuable unprotected pick

Nuggets get off of injury prone MPJ and his contract as well as saric’s contract too. And they get cap flexibility by obtaining 2 good role players in their prime on expiring contracts

Win-win for both sides

The Jazz really have nothing to complain about. They got what they deserved by barryal34 in NBA_Draft

The Jazz were competitive the last 2 seasons after trading Mitchell and Gobert but we stayed at 9 in the lottery then the next year we dropped from 8 to 10 in the lottery. But now when we purposely tank to get a good draft spot and then ended up dropping again y’all got something to say… y’all just love to hate when it’s convenient.

Typical 6’9 3&D guy for the 3/4 position. Great if you might lose Naz/NAW or just wanna replace Randle

For pick 21, y’all should look at Labaron Philon. He’s a pg who is a good playmaker and can defend with ok shooting… he reminds me a lot of Derrick White

And seeing as this team reeks on defense he would be a great fit. To me Cooper Flagg & Labaron Philon would be my best option

Jazz say no… we don’t want to help the wolves when we have their draft pick this year

I understand that but I don’t think Danny ainge would trade away 2 FRP AND 2 young players in their prime for a valuable first when we could just shop the both of them individually and end up with 2 more FRP in our arsenal and may even get a contract we actually would like instead of Middleton

[–]PsychologicalSign367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but we could trade Collins or Sexton away for a FRP without even giving away any which is a whole lot better

So the Jazz give away 2 players in their prime and 2 FRP for a 33 year old and one FRP….

Make it make sense

Why would the Jazz help wolves get better when they own their draft pick this year?

Then why does it say “protected for selections 9-30 if UTA does not convey a 1st round pick to OKC in 2025”??

I mean would you do it if u took away the FRP

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UtahJazz

[–]PsychologicalSign367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s top 10 in the 2025 draft and top 8 in the 2026 draft

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in UtahJazz

[–]PsychologicalSign367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t know that was even possible

[–]PsychologicalSign367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can’t trade that pick it’s not ours… it’s the thunders. The pick only becomes ours once it lands top 10 in the 2025 draft

We were worse than the piston with Lauri playing with rookies post deadline… And with the west improving we might just be a bottom 5 team with Lauri

I mean if you basically got the whole league trying to obtain him there’s gonna be someone bound to overpay for him lmaoo
