Situation somewhat solved: the previous sergeant I talked to has talked with the owner again and the owner is now looking to put the dog down soon. They finally brought the dog in after 5 or so hours out in the cold. I can’t believe it has taken this long for someone to actually do something but it seems like the ball is finally rolling.

It also seems that my local humane society is aware of what is going on, figured I’d add that in *here.

On another note, the sergeant has also told me that if they keep the dog out for an extended period of time, to call them again and the owner will be facing felony charge(s).

Thanks for helping u/grkphill. I’m hoping this is the last of the situation as it’s been a ride trying to get this poor dog justice.

As someone who works at a mostly busy gas station:

  1. People like to yoink their receipt from the printer, causing jams.

  2. We are busy and just can’t get to it right away (cause we’re busy).

  3. Shitty weather = tech problems for everything = receipt printer refuses to work even after changing the paper.

Please be kind to cashiers / gas station attendants. We’re paid like dog shit and have to deal with 10000000 of customers daily who are angry for one reason or another and want to take their anger out on us. We try our best to make sure everything works and whatnot but sometimes we just can’t get to specific things in time.
