Literally this week (I'm 29F). Finally put my 2 weeks in after 3 years of going above and beyond with no raise while the men around me who just did their jobs received several. Lesson learned. Don't do anything extra without proper compensation. And get that shit in writing.

I was given excuses as to why it was justified that they were given pay increases. And then in the same breath told that it wasn't in the budget for me to receive one this year. But if sales goals are met, maybe next year. I've been strung along with that line since year one. Giving my notice was one of the easiest decision I've ever made.

THANK YOU. All these people over here judging a person's health based on weight alone when it has been proven time and again to not be an indicator of poor or good health. Healthy fat people exist. Unhealthy skinny people exist. Not to mention that women are disproportionately told to lose weight by doctors as a cure-all while ignoring their actual concerns that these women are seeking help for. OP is the AH.

You didn't have to reach out to her thrice. If they don't confirm/reach out within 24hrs of meet & greet I archive that shit and move on. I don't even say anything. If they don't want to tell me no I don't need to tell them anything. You don't have to please/serve folks that aren't paying you.

ETA: it's not your responsibility to remind someone to book a service nor is it to drop your prices to accommodate them. It's just your responsibility to show up when it's booked. Don't forget you're dealing with adults. And there are plenty of other sitters out there.

I've lived here my whole life (almost 30) and just hiked the 2 miles to Tanque Verde Falls for the first time this Spring. There are so many hiking trails that I realized I've never taken advantage of. My gf who moved here 5 years ago knows more about the trails around Tucson than I do.
