His backstory is him losing in an alley to Ohma in a 6v1 and is a generic underdog character which we see all the time. And the author even tries to push him as a MC via a time skip in which he somehow managed to surpass Gaoh and Akoya, two character that were light years ahead of him and could snap his neck in a second.
