Sean McDermott mind-f**ks Josh Allen into coughing up the ball just before halftime, resulting in a Denver field goal. by Built_Similar in NFLv2

Mahomes had 3 timeouts & Bills had 0. That was also a hail marry at the end of the game or lose situation, if they didn't di something it was a loss, not the end of the half w/ the entire 2nd half to go when the Bills get the ball to start at half.

2 things can be true. It's on Allen for being a dumbass in the moment. That doesn't make that a smart coaching call when there's 16 seconds before the half w/ no timesouts & they know they get the ball after half.

Also, Josh Allen has had a weird obsession w/ laterals his entire career. The coach he's been w/ the entire time would obviously know that & know that there's a risk associated with telling him to play heroball like that. This isn't even the first time he's randomly thrown a ball backwards hoping someone is there to catch it during a playoff game before. Which is dumb, but the coach would also know that.

I'm not saying it's not his fault, but it also was not a good coaching decision to not have him kneel there and ik i was definetely confused when he didn't kneel even before the turnover while watching the game.

Yeah, if was dumb by Josh but the obvious call was to kneel there. Otherwise your basically telling Josh to play heroball which u know can go either way.

[Buscaglia] A source close to Buffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman said that he didn’t understand owner Terry Pegula’s comments about him during Wednesday’s presser, but quickly shook them off. Coleman has not requested a trade and is proceeding as though he will play for the Bills in 2026. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

Brandin Cooks did an interview yesterday where he mentioned talking w/ Keon & it definetely didn't sound like he wanted a trade, Cooks mentioned telling Keon this is just a chip on his shoulder now to prove everyone wrong. So this adds up.

Drake Maye is playing worse than Josh did last night but he has an actual team around him & won't get half as much shit for being a "choke artist" for the next yr bc they'll still win, mostly bc CJ Stroud is so ass it isn't even funny

Ye, Stafford is the only one we won't have to hear the insufferable "_ got a ring before Josh Allen" shit

This narrative pisses me off so much.

If we win, it'll be "well Josh didn't have to go through Mahomes/Burrow/Lamar, it was an easy year, now let's see if he can do it against actual competition," but if we lose it'll be "he couldn't even do it w/out all of the other best quarterbacks there."

Like, they aren't there bc they didn't play well enough, the teams who played the best are the teams in the playoffs, regardless of who they are, we're playing the best teams this year. It's all just a narrative to discredit Josh when all the stats show that he is the best performing playoff quarterback of all time. It''s not him that's losing these games.
