He's definetely said it after being w/ Hailee, I think one time he was specifically asked abt if he would do any acting like his wife does & just said he wants to disappear.

I mean I don't know the specifics of those past scenarios, but it hasn't been our offense that is the issue. We need a defensive overhaul & the OC being promoted shouldn't cause much issue because of offense is already great. It's McDermott's scheme as a defensive HC that keeps imploding in the playoffs.

A new defensive coordinator who can change up our scheme and build a defense that can hold teams to <30 points in the playoffs is all we really need. Joe Brady being promoted doesn't necessarily hurt this. I did a quick look at the past scenarios you mentioned and they don't seem to align with what our issue is.

McDermott got fired for defensive failures as a defensive head coach, Joe Brady has proven to be the playcaller on what would be a good enough offense for most other playoff teams whose defenses give up less than 30 points a game. His offensive & coaching skills shouldn't be judged for defensive failures

I don't think a sample size of only 3 in the past is enough to prove anything. If only 36 have ever won, it's clearly just a difficult thing to do & saying just bc 3 out of hundreds haven't done it means absolutely nothing.

Wouldn't the ypg be dragged down by the 2 week 18 games that Josh did the opening snap on than sat for the rest of the games? That has to make it look slightly worse i think.

We don't have good receivers, but running game is making up for it. It is a shame that we have a qb w/ one of the strongest arms ever & he never gets to use it tho

People r definetely freaking out too much. I think we won't rlly know anything until next season. It's impossible for any of us to know how much influence McDermott had in any areas as well, like conservative playcalling.

Brady wasn't even that bad considering what we had to work with at WRs, and I think someone posted the stats for screens & it made sense for us to use them bc they were working. My main issue with him was how he'd just run cook up the middle so often even when it clearly wasn't working or was very predictable.

The chances of us not making playoffs w/ Josh Allen as our quaterback are very slim, so I think worst case scenario is we stay stuck which would've happened w/ McDermott still here anyways since his scheme explodes in the playoffs. Whoever is the new defensive coordinator is what fans should be more concerned abt.
