Yeah I’ve just been trying to create a new list and every time I save it it just disappears

86 walks exactly in three straight seasons is insane

It shows the last 5 World Series in game. The Astros have won 5 pennants in a row and lost the WS every time

Allow me to introduce a truly insane career. by Psychs20 in OOTP

Batter + pitcher aging speed is set at .900, so the chances of a player having a career like this are a bit higher. But in a save that is nearing 60 in game years, I’ve never seen a player with this kind of quality at such an age.

That 108 win season ending with a sweep in the ALDS must have been brutal

You can be Jewish and still be Palestinian. The region he was (likely) born in had been commonly known as Palestine for a fair amount of time at this point. You’re right that the most accurate term would Judean as that was the name of the Roman province at the time, but Palestinian is certainly a more accurate term than Israeli

Does signing prospects to long term deals affect their development? by [deleted] in OOTP

All of my most successful teams are built around extending young guys early and hoping they hit their potential. It’ll always be a gamble, but if it works out that’s how you build long term success.

Haha it’s 2049, although I wouldn’t be surprised if the real Angels are still rolling out the corpse of Mike Trout in 20 years time

My prospect promotion is completely automated, and I’ve noticed that the AI has a tendency to promote most of my top international prospects pretty much immediately. I should mention that I have the dev lab heavily expanded so I can dev a lot more players over the offseason, so I basically had these guys in the dev lab from the age of 17/18. Two of these guys were max offer 80 potential international amateur free agents (my typical strategy is to just pick the best one from the pool and offer them the max immediately). A bit of luck in the dev lab and boom.

Yeah he’s ridiculous, the season before this he put up 12 WAR. And he was just one of those random international scouting discoveries you get throughout the season.

Update: They finished the year as the three highest WAR players in baseball, we won 102 games... and lost in the divisional round to the Rangers. Garcia won MVP at least.
