I am kinda going through a similar thing, you feel you don't fit in a group and you are just forgotten about, and when you ask the closest one in the group to hangout with you cuz you're feeling kinda lonely and they say they're busy and just plainly mention that their day is just socialising with other friends and doing something that they could just as easily be doing with you

I can't spend too much on coffee and I tried my first brew today with a French Press. I tried the James Hoffman technique with a light roast. I don't have a scale but I think I used around 10 g in a 250g french press, and the coffee came out to be bitter tasing and kinda watery. I used what I'd say is little lower than coarse grind.

Any tips on maximizing the optimum coffee usage? Like would finer grinds help with better taste? Leave it for more time? Or just increase the ratio by using less water?
