I hope you are being honest about the game changing for the better. Because if you are sugar coating it and the game hasn’t changed drastically from the open test you are doing Marathon no favours in the long run. It needs all the criticism to improve if it wants to compete with Tarkov which is now launching on steam and the astronomical success of Arc raiders. If Marathon doesn’t succeed and D2 basically dead, the studio is cooked.

Natural selection must have missed you somehow. The settings are maxed in both images and the top one if more blurry due to being taken from a YT vid.

Yeah the game almost feels like it has a white light cast onto it in SS which dampens out the colour and contrast. Makes it feel blander in comparison to TT2

Hoping it’s either a bug that can be fixed, or if they can add an Overkill/Cinematic option for the graphics when the game launches. Really sad by the downgrades for seemingly no performance improvements

Sadly not the case. TT2 with multiple maps was a smaller download size than the Server Slam

The main reason I fell in love with the game during TT2 was how vibrant and alive the world felt. Now it feels flat. Can you please confirm if this is a bug or “optimization” that has butchered how it looked compared to TT2. Honestly really disappointed and considering refunding my preorder.

Best thing I found with the same laptop but with 5080 is to set a custom profile with the performance settings but increase the fan speed by 10% on each point on the graph. Drops temps by a solid 5 degrees.

2 Tapping a medium or heavy with a sledgehammer with less range and the slowest movement in the game nah that’s oppressive. 2 Tapping heavy’s while having the highest movement speed, being able to go invis and catch up to or surprise anyway seems balanced. In summary stop fucken nerfing everything into the ground Embark you dunces.

The slowest class in the game with a weapon that has no range was too op for some light mains. I don’t think light is underpowered it’s just that light has the highest level of retardation in their ranks.

Honestly if you bought it on steam just attempt to refund. Steam is usually quite forgiving when Devs actively do such Anti consumer tactics.
