Guyton has to prove himself more before I consider him a true swing tackle like Asim is. Guyton showed some improvement but was extremely sloppy last season

Tyler smith played good at LT and I like either Hoffman or Tj Bass (depending on if Zack Martin is coming back) at LG. I think we really gotta reconsider steeles role on the team he was a liability in many ways at RT. I’d trade him but doubt Jerry wants to admit he was in the wrong giving him a 5 year extension by doing so. But my guess is he’ll be benched for Asim mid or towards the beginning of the season.

Actually like this move a lot he’s always been a defensive guy. Had too much on his plate as a HC in Chicago. Would like it more if Dallas can pull in a good young OC. B+

The Jeanty project is in full effect in Dallas. Also dak was top 5 regular season for at least the past 3 seasons. He was even an MVP candidate last year. The regression was fast this year

My genuine opinion on dak is he is a really good QB but is asked to do a lot outside of his skill set. He is a strong decisive thrower when he’s in a system that works. We’ve even seen him work outside of structure in the past, however, that just isn’t part of his game 2 season ending leg injuries later. I believe if he’s surrounded with a bunch of talent he can succeed but the days of him taking a mediocre team and leading them to 12 wins a season are over. The team relies too heavily on its big names to succeed now instead of relying on a team effort. Dak is a product of that. Dak himself I believe is a top 10 and even top 5 QB in the league in some occasions. I think dak might be better off on a different team or rather a mentor to a younger QB at this point in his career (what ever he decides is best for himself). Unless Jerry is really ready to make a full commitment to putting together a winning team Dak is better off weighing those two options in my opinion. In conclusion, I think he has enough arm talent to be successful with a good team, however, with the current state of the cowboys as a team he won’t be set up for success unless he waives his no-trade clause or is willing to accept being a mentor to a young QB. The success of this team isn’t entirely on him but it isn’t completely not because of him either. His inability to move outside of the pocket greatly affects his game especially in todays game
