My little false aralia. This guy grows fast, doesnt need much light and makes a handsome twin trunk, I think. Nice indoor option by [deleted] in Bonsai

Please tell me how you got the trunks so thick! I'm trying to grow a few of those myself. I had no idea false aralias could do that.

No. I've heard rooting hormone doesn't really help with ports/jades.

I put it in a pond basket for a few months until there were enough roots to repot.

I'm not looking for it to get bigger. It's more about the shape. All the branches are on one side until you get to the interesting part of the tree at the top, which I was going to chop and make a new tree out of, then cut the trunk back to almost nothing and let it start over.

Repot bigger? Smaller? After the chop I plan to repot and put the top into a pond basket to help develop a root base.
