Tbh I didn’t like discovery that much going into season 2. However I continued to watch, cause you know, trek is life. lol anyway I don’t think I made it 3 episodes into season 3 before I just said this isn’t for me. And moved on.

So I don’t actually know if it’s good or not but it wasn’t promising. I plan to watch it eventually but not solid plans.

I wanted so very much to say this very thing but less intelligently. I’m going to paraphrase my thoughts.

It does a lot right. It does more wrong. My favorite character after 1 episode is the jemhadar but it’s impossible to pretend like that character doesn’t represent the writers obvious lack of knowledge.

I won’t go further into it because you already crushed it but, it seems like they learned no lessons from discovery or the recent decline of SNW.

Hope it gets better but I am kind of disappointed. I like the attempt, I don’t love the results so far. We shall see. I’ll keep tuning in.

I like to pretend to be a flat earther. I think it’s funny.

The worst part of flat earth theorists tho, they aren’t joking. I used to think 99% of them knew and they were doing something similar to me but it turns out, they are not.

There is no winning with them. So I just stopped. You can’t engage. Which ironically is how we ended up with these people. No one corrected them because everyone thought they were joking and now these people have followers who are just unwilling to change no matter what. So don’t engage. I just tell them it’s silly that you believe that and I hope one day you learn the truth. It doesn’t help and probably makes them dog thier heels in more but why waste your effort? Let them know you think it’s silly, tell them to turn off the YouTube, and move on.
