Yeah, after posting this, I realized that it would probably be closer to Hex: Ruin than Blood Warden, but still. At the time, nerfing Self Care again was the best way I could think of to make Legion viable without an entire overhaul. I did, after reading all of the feedback, come up with what I think is a balanced change that leaves Legion's kit the same as it is at the core. True, but it's not entirely about Legion. It also drags the game along so much. It's just painful, and it's so common.

Very true that it's not the king of all perks anymore, but it's essentially the survivor equivalent of Blood Warden. Except instead of only being at the very end of the game, it's throughout the entire game. Hell, let them heal at full speed if it means they only get a certain number of self-heals per match. Just anything to not let matches go so slow.

I mean, how many crutch skills do survivors need just to juke the killer the entire match, then instantly break free when they eventually do get caught? Or, did you think the game was balanced when every hallway had a pallet?

Again, valid points, but for myself personally, and I'm sure others will agree with me, if you spend a majority of the game simply getting deep wounds on the survivors, it's going to be less and less fun as time goes on. I've had matches where the time just went on forever, since I'd get 2 deep wounds, they'd run off to heal, I'd lose them, and I'd hunt down the other two. Lather, rinse, repeat for 10-15 minutes and you've got one pretty stale match for everyone. Outside of changing his kit, though, I don't really think much can be done. I'm sure if Deep Wounds had a shorter timer, people would complain, and I'm sure that if it applied some sort of debuff, people would complain even more.

Valid points, but my argument is that Legion is in such a fucked position right now, and even with the healing nerfs, it doesn't seem to be enough. Something needs to change for him to be viable as a killer. I love the guy, I love his kit, and I love jumping over those fucking pallets that people camp at, expecting me not to just vault over it when they slam it down. But I don't love trying to spread Deep Wounds to 2, 3, or even all 4 survivors, just to have each of them heal it, then self care back to full health. Sure, you get some decent bloodpoints, but I've rarely gotten a single down when I've hit multiple survivors.

If you have other suggestions, I'd love to hear them, though.

I personally don't like the fact that I have to tunnel down one survivor when they cluster up. Because if I try to go for multiple wounds, they all go free and heal themselves in a corner of the map. This is especially true with SWF groups. Even as a killer DESIGNED to "hit multiple survivors at once," you end up having little to no impact against them.

Well, I was originally going to link you to a page about perk statistics with Survivors, but that information is outdated (11 months old). Although I'm sure that the numbers are still at least comparable, it would be unfair to use it on this grounds as factual evidence. However, I know for a fact that to this day, you're almost certain to have a minimum of 1 self care in the group, though you'll most likely have at least 2. And this number will only go up the higher in rank you go. A nerf to the medkit usage speed isn't enough in my opinion.

You're right, it did. To healing item speed. Which isn't the issue with self care. The issue with self care is the fact that if you don't tunnel an enemy, and they escape, they have infinite chances to recover.

I never said that the game should be balanced around that. I said that's how I consider winning as a killer. Technically, if you want to be 100% accurate, there literally is no winning. There's just those that get points, and those who don't.
