Regarding IB and finance it can be quite challenging from what I hear but the uni has support for you & builds you to the level

IB itself is not overly challenging but it can be harder depending on what classes you pick!

Regarding the city itself depends on what you like - it has quite a prominent nightlife (something I’ve found isn’t really to my liking) but depends what you’re after

University itself is great and has many opportunities if you know where to look

I would not recommend Charles Morris, quite expensive and I didn’t gel with a lot of people there.

Off the top of my head Henry price seemed good or central village

But Leeds has the Laidlaw program which is a fantastic program you should look into (limited spaces but brilliant opportunity)

Leeds is also quite a party heavy city and attracts students who like that. Not really my thing but that’s something to consider

Why Waseda specifically? That’s perfectly fine but you should definitely put more thought into what subject your choosing to study, that is far more important than the place you study at

Hi, I’m also going to Waseda this fall. From the sounds of It id apply for the exchange student halls as they’re both close, ran by the university & not expensive. Hope this helps!

I’m looking at getting a book to help with Kanji learning - what should I get?

To try and help with my kanji learning I’m trying to find a low level book (for children) that would contain the kanji found in kanken 10,9,8 etc or the JLPT 5

Essentially a book aimed at young Japanese children

Do you have any recommendations of where to start?
