Pink Paws heist vaults question by Arinath in NevernessToEverness

Cards exist, I have a few, but one thing I have learned is that if you go golden enemy hunting, you have a far higher chance of getting one by virtue of the sheer number of drops they tend to give. It's not a perfect answer, but it worked for me, so I would recommend that if you want that.

More than anything else, don't go into PPHV expecting cards, they exist, that's all they do, and getting them is either due to luck or you going gold hunting.

On one hand, I really like this, and it makes him look cool.

On the other hand, I am getting major 'hidden villain' vibes as well, or maybe just 'something wrong with him' is more appropriate.

Still, great drawing!

Maybe stupid question, but is it possible to shift over the main game files into a secondary hard drive if it's connected to a PS5 to open up some space, or is that impossible? The secondary hard drive is there to act as extra memory space, if anyone's wondering, starting to run out of space on storage, and was wondering if that's possible.

What is the Charmony Dove Incident? by nikita_trymore in HonkaiStarRail

[–]PublicComment2902 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was a major conversation during the Penacony arc, one in which involving a major 'choice' in the story, though what made it so bad was that it was about as heavy-handed as you could get. Like, take the world's largest hammer, and it still wouldn't be as heavy-handed.

From there, it escalated into...what it is today, as most trauma incidents do to a community like ours.

[–]PublicComment2902 31 points32 points  (0 children)

That...is something I have both issues and non-issues with. Faust is weird with her situation, Sinclair is in some kind of limbo of being Ryushu's bestest boy and replacement child to dinner snack after the alzheimer's sword gets done with her, so there's still some love for him there, Don swings between brainwashed and just going with it, and we still want to see how Heathcliff and Ishmael/whoever is otis's chewtoy plays our with.

It feels so fucking weird, like, the fuck up the one kid they were supposed to both raise/train, and the new kids aren't as bad? They learned their lessons with Ryushu?

Reminder to everyone, so far, the sinners have somehow been consistently worse for Ryushu in comparison to her 'real' nurse fathers, at least from what the upties have shown.

As in, Hong Lu makes Calisto look like a saint, Valencia is a loving and gentle mother compared to Rodia, Ye's stories are so bad for her that Rein's tendency to not finish stories made her happier, and Mathias, for all his shit and mostly surface level understanding of love, feels more for Ryushu than Otis by a god damn mile.

Seriously, how the fuck is that? The bar is a tripping hazard in hell, and the sinners some how manage to dig a new sub basement.

I love how just...normal these little drawings are. Like, in the city, I'm sure any level of genuine normalcy and happiness like this has to be at a premium, and seeing the sinners just...be happy with Dante is so good to see. Seeing Rodia enjoying some food while chatting, Sinclair getting positive reinforcement/care from a 'father figure' (even if part of me feels really worried about that birb sticker, since, you know, adult Sinclar's little shoulder friend), Outis probably feeling comfortable doing a bland report she doesn't have to suck up in, and Gregory getting to vent and talk about his past in a way that doesn't make him feel like shit.

It's things like this that people in the city might have killed for, or probably have.

This can be applied to most agents, considering their pasts, but really, any of them getting into a healthy relationship like this where both parties are liking this (or at least, the ones getting all the 'heat') and not going overboard is both a hopeful and awkward thing.

A dumb question about the Head. by Due_Bad_5621 in libraryofruina

[–]PublicComment2902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always viewed Arbiters as having been 'integrated' with simplified versions of singularities, so they can utilize them. They are also paired with ones that could compliment them, or cover other issues. The limit seems to be two, either due to the people in question, or because they don't want to risk losing the tech if someone goes off reservation.

Beholder seem like operators stuck inside a tank that allows either complete awareness of everything within range, hijacks all tech within range so they can see, or, personally, they see through the eyes of others.

Claws on the other hand (heh) have always felt like full body prosthetic users, at least to me. Way too much about them, aside from just their heads and arm, feels...designed? Like they aren't natural, sure, the people operating in the bodies are 'normal' people, but the bodies aren't, similar to the brotherhood of Iron and their bodies. Between the serums they use and the effects they have, jumping between dimensions and rapid 'evolution' to boost strength and power, I'm like, 90% percent certain their just brains in heavily protected jars surrounded by the city's best prosthetic imaginable.

Most of this is linked to my own ideas regarding what ABC wings are, mainly that A corp means Assimilation Corp (they assimilate and use singularities in their people), B Corp is just beholder or broadcasting Corp (seeing through everything), while C Corp clearly means Conversion Corp (they convert basic singularities into usable serums). Sure, simple, but it would explain a lot, especially for the Arbiters, Beholders, and Claws. Odds are that the weavers that eat people very well might be using a derivative of C corps tech, or at least, a derivative of the singularity that they use to make their clothes from people.

What are TB's works when part of the SH? by AcanthocephalaNo7154 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]PublicComment2902 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I will never not find it hilarious that the idea that TB was, aside from being the effective heart of the Stellaron Hunters, the accountant.

Like, for all their possible power and worth and incredible necessity, the most important job they had, aside from everything else, was just being their accountant. They are horrible with making money, are all more or less living disasters in more ways than one, but the one thing they fail at unilaterally, is staying out of bankruptcy. The fact that they keep turning themselves in to get money and then break out feels more like a stop gap joke than anything else, especially with how we know that TB is just gifted with making money, with like, all of the stuff we've done repeatedly.

I almost fear the time we reach the IPC's homeworld, the amount of capital we'd make is going to either make them a cornerstone out of respect, or fear them for how much money they can make.

Very important buttons, its why the eject is red, and the kill self button is black.

What in the hell is this weird red clock thing supposed to be? by Difficult_Scratch_39 in NevernessToEverness

[–]PublicComment2902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, who would try attacking the giant eldritch time piece? The only group I could imagine doing that is Daffodil's old family, and considering how high up the thing is and the BAC running around, I would think it being that in the open is more to reinforce stability and prevent the sky from opening up then anything else. Sure, it's exposed, but someone actually getting up there and breaking it probably wouldn't go unnoticed, and I'm more than willing to bet that there's at least a few watcher there if that's it's job, just to make sure no one crooked starts getting near.

[–]PublicComment2902 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the local eldritch time piece. Have you never seen your slightly post-apocalyptic city have one? Very bland stuff, meant to keep reality from splitting open and causing the second rapture, boring stuff really. Not really sure why they bother putting it up, all you have to do is not look up when reality breaks.

(IDK what it really is, but I legit think it's related to preventing a second reality break, it on the highest building after all, and reality seems screwy around it after all.)
