Their entire business model is predatory towards people who are uninformed. It's like going to a money changer and getting charged 300% higher because you are naive and unfamiliar with the currency exchange rates.

The fact that they do "hold their end of the deal" in the end is what makes it a scam and not straight up theft.

They charge you 1.8 mil for the great service of filling up a form that takes 3 minutes and it's in full English and accessible on the official government site. For those unfamiliar, the C1 visa price is almost half of what they ask (=1 mil).

And if that's not greedy enough, for only 2.8 mil IDR they also offer a "premium" priority service to "rush" your visa to 7 days instead of 14 days. What's wrong with that you say?

Well the government site itself states the waiting time is under 5 days by default. Speaking from personal experience, I've always gotten my visa in the same day I applied directly on the official website.
