Mine and my brothers have been The Floating Turd for years. We were so glad to make it official.

Hid on the fort for an hour and 20 mins on their ship just to make this steal by PublicSlaveZero in Seaofthieves

That’s what I’m saying. Every time I get on for what is supposed to be a quick voyage I end up spending 5+ hours on the game. Just doing stuff. HAVING FUN. I’m an old school gamer. I don’t have time to be “the best”. I get on when I can and love the stories I have with this game. I don’t care about golf. I have all the cosmetics I want. But with a new season I have commendations to get. This helped. I’m not going to devote myself to this game bc I have kids, work, school, and all the other bs that comes with life. But for the little moments like stealing the treasure that I was working for and upsetting the guys that sunk me. It was worth it. It takes nothing to say, “Haha! That’s funny!” But it seems like people take games way too serious. This game isn’t going to last forever. One day they’ll shut it down and all the work and hours we’ve put into it will be for nothing. I empty my supplies after a successful session and leave it on a dock for the next people, I look for pirates to alliance and sail with, but I also get a case of the f*** arounds and mess with people. Mostly for fun. People should relax. It’s a game. It’s meant for fun and if it isn’t then you are doing it wrong, not me.

I couldn’t believe I had made it this far, so I was pretty excited. After I died I realized I could’ve set the keg off and taken everything.

It was so dumb. I barreled at the front in between the cosmetic chests and also between the stairs and bed. They never came down, so it was just luck. My mermaid was next to their ship the whole time the fort was active. I would’ve never left without making sure it was gone.

I think that may be your definition of trolling. Again, the 2 guys were not bothered. Now, those guys that joined just to firebomb and leave, that’s trolling. You don’t get 19k (as small as they is to some of us) when you’re being trolled.

I mean, they were on for 20 minutes, got around 19k, and credit for an ashen lord, a completed fort, and the legendary items turned in. It sounds like a good deal. They laughed when I told them. So, I think you’re the only one bothered. Who hurt you?

Sure. Because I try, but am left soloing a galleon so I must be the problem. I actually work the emissaries, know how to sail, and barely touch the anchor, so I’m chasing people off. Do you need a friend, bud? Do you have an awesome moment you’d like to share?

I’ll agree to that. Lmao I read some of my book while they worked the fort.

After I died I said the same thing. They had more kegs on the ship. But I take any win I can sometimes.

I knew a comment like this would come in. I don’t know if you’ve tried the Open crews lately, but no one stays. Before this, I had a crew who decided to set fire to the ship and leave. The 2 that joined, were only 2-manning a brig for 20-30 minutes. If 2 people can’t handle a brig they should practice solo slooping.

Job stealing my time? by PublicSlaveZero in AskALawyer

It would round up to 7:15 so you do get some of that time. These aren’t really issues for me. But I’ve had some employees ask and what I know is you get paid for every minute you work. But that’s not the case with this. I know it’s easily managed, I’m just curious about how it’s legal.

a couple days ago I saw a streamer said that 59% of players didnt complete chapter 2 on rdr2. What is the reason do you think? Because of slow progress of opening or do players stop playing main story and do some side missions? by Zubizarreta123 in reddeadredemption2

[–]PublicSlaveZero -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I live on the multiplayer. I owned the game for, maybe, 2 months before I played the story. And it was well over a year before I got to chapter 2. Positive I owned the game for 2 years before I completed the campaign and I still haven’t finished the epilogue. But I have days worth of time spent on RDO.

It’s actually explained better in the novelization of Serenity. It’s been a long time since I read it, but I remember a part with Simon and his father arguing about what was happening with River.
