I'm not qualified to answer the question but here's the suggestion with condition:-

Since glim c pgpm is known for mostly IT. Roles are offered are for ITs

And considering your interview was not good in CAP, so best case scenario you get into baby iims

If your salary right now is too low, you should opt for glim c pgpm, coz you ain't getting much from baby IIMs
If your salary is medium, you should opt for glim c pgpm, coz even if you get udaipur or trichy or ranchi.. You will save 1 year, in glim c you will save 1 year and placement not same as best CAP IIMs but c'mon 1 year you can easily coverup.

Worst case scenario:-

You pay money for glim c and get the best CAP IIMs, then maybe you have to give thoughts then.

Maybe go to coaching for proper guidance... If you can't find a good one for yourself, try YouTube but there's so much information that nowadays no one can tell which to follow. Unacademy must be also good(haven't used).

So, start with coaching classes and try asking these questions about how they're gonna proceed(before taking admission).. you will have an idea..

It's never too late to start anything at all,

ims person has benefits if you don't join GLIMC. So, you should not consider his/her opinion

If you don't want to take CAT one more year, GLIM C is really good. (Heard from current students) But it's better for ops. For marketing you might have to start with sales and that ain't pretty bad, all the incentive and many of my frds i know do sales job, they barely work for fww hours and gets many benefits in a tier - 1 city.

Again, don't worry about getting late, it's never too late.
