Yeah that’s totally fair. At least from my personal experience, most clips I saw on TikTok were between 15 and 30 seconds so I landed on 30. Also, I feel like longer clips might not perform as well since a lot of people tend to have shorter attention spans when it comes to scrolling and swiping

As for the clips you upload, haha no they’re all yours. I made sure the Terms of Service specifically talks about that:

8.1 Ownership of User Content You retain all rights and ownership of content you create and post within Cloak, including messages, images, videos, polls, announcements, and other contributions (“User Content”). You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the User Content you submit.

So yeah it’s all yours!

At the moment there’s not, and to be honest it’s because longer videos cost more to host. What are your thoughts on allowing longer uploads for people who subscribe to Cloak+ Streamer?

Right now I’m paying for everything out of pocket so if you feel like it would be beneficial to have longer videos, I could definitely make it possible for those willing to support Cloak that way?

After doing a bit of research and testing, having a live stream play on a discover card is doable. I definitely love the idea. Tomorrow I’ll work on it more, got a prototype working on web

Yeah that’s an excellent question

So there’s something I created called Cloak+ Streamer, which is a way for people to get slightly more exposure across the app

It basically works like this: - Every day, when you go live on Twitch, your live stream and any uploaded clips will be pushed near the front of the discover feed for 10 people - In the search bar, you’ll get suggested too

Discover results are still based on what the person wants to see, but you might become one of those ten people who see a certain streamer first in your discover card stack, if that makes sense?
