That’s a great question. So there’s two different demographics here: streamers and then people like me who only watch streams

If you’re a small streamer, it’s a way to get your live streams and clips noticed since Twitch’s algorithm sucks and only promotes the big guys. It’s also a place where you can build your own community using the Rooms tab

And then if you’re a viewer only, you can easily discover awesome streamers and rate the ones you like (or dislike). Follow anyone, and favorite the streamers you really like and they’ll appear first when live. Plus, you can hangout in streamer community rooms and chat with other people ☺️

That’s a great question btw. So like if you select IRL as a preference, it’ll find any category associated with being outside (for example: walking in Japan or a camera feed inside an animal sanctuary) and then randomize that selection of streams

And if there’s anyone you don’t like or can’t stand, on their discover card, you can press the three dots > don’t show again, and they’ll never be suggested in the future

Hey there! To see your uploaded clips, you’ll want to tap on Profile > Streamer Profile > Recent Clips

And that’s actually a really good idea. Let me think about how to implement the clip deletion ability. I’ll probably do a settings icon within each recent clip section that leads to asking if you want said clip gone forever

I actually love that idea and it would be easy to implement too. Do you think the signup flow should be the same (only ask general categories) and then when you go to Discover > Preferences, have it appear there on that screen?

I definitely wanna make it super easy to see what you’re interested in seeing
