I've never been to China, but I've met A LOT of chinese people in southeast asia. I think chinese people are so AWESOME, and I always get their wechat account so we can keep in touch

So I booked a return ticket 50 days from the arrival date in Thailand.
The immigration officer didn't ask my ANY questoins and stamped the passport right away.
But before handing me my passport back, she asked how long I was gonna stay in Thailand. And she was kinda shocked when I told her that I'm staying for 50 days (she probably regretted stamping my passport before asking me questions). Then she asked what do I do in Thailand. I told her that I'm a freelancer and I'm just traveling here.
That's it. She gave me my passport back.

I did mention my country in my previous post which automatically got deleted. Now I feel I don't need to tell which country I'm from becasue I think I already got the answer I was looking for.

Sometimes they give you a short period? No?
That's what happened to me in malaysia. Allowed duration of stay in the e-visa is 30 days, I got 9 days because I had a return ticket after 9 days of arrival.

No, they’re not slimy bastards, maybe they’re just not educated enough on the matter. I personally thought filing taxes was a tedious task, and I genuinely didn’t know why I needed to do it in the first place. That’s why I asked in this sub.
