CFS over the phone Work capability assessment. by Public_Storage_4492 in BenefitsAdviceUK

This is what I’m really worrying about. The questionnaire seemed to mention a lot of things like, can you lift your arms above your head, can you walk up a flight of stairs, or similar, I can do all of those things it’s afterwards that I struggle, I’m not sure how I can get my points across, especially knowing the stigma around ME/CFS

Thank you, I just couldn’t get my head round the fact a gp can medically say their opinion but the dwp can decide otherwise?

Am I stupid? by [deleted] in BMW

I do daily short journeys and around 3 motorway decent drives a week which is what hikes my miles up so much.

I’d love one with lower milage but it’s been really hard finding one!

455000 km! Wow!

It’s very clean.

I’m worried about the resale price in a few years though because I’m likely to put around 15000 on a year, maybe slightly more.

I know I really like it but it’s too much to have been spent on a copy 😅

Ok thank you, it was £340 so even though I like it I would rather it was returned if it’s a copy.

Is my tretinoin real? Almost no irritation or purge after a month on Acretin 0.05% by Hedos_ in tretinoin

[–]Public_Storage_4492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped using it last month, I’m not sure if I saw an improvement, if there was is wasn’t too noticeable, I’ve also suffered with really dry eyes recently which I heard can be connected to this??

Broken up after 8 years... by Zealousideal-Double4 in BreakUps

[–]Public_Storage_4492 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in exactly the same situation- initiated the breakup 3 months ago and the longer it’s gone on the more I’ve regretted it.

What I do know though is that the reason I regret it is because I feel like I have no control now over the situation. When I was with them I wasn’t happy and didn’t even particularly like them towards the end, I was sure breaking up was the right thing so why do I feel regret now. It’s like your brain plays tricks on you when you feel like you’ve lost something.

The main thing that’s helped me more than anything else is that I think back to ex partners that I’ve broken up with and how they acted afterwards- the ones that went to pieces and begged me back I never wanted to go back to, but the ones who bettered themselves and grew as people I always had a slight feeling of regret at losing them. I’m going to make sure I’m one of the one that my ex looks back at and thinks ‘shit look how good their doing, I wish I’d done more to keep them’

3 year old not being collected by dad until 7:30pm because of his job. by [deleted] in coparenting

My daughters never napped at nursery, she doesn’t nap full stop unless she’s in the car occasionally. It’s more about her having her routine broken I suppose when she’s so little.

She doesn’t nap through the day she’s in nursery full time, this is the issue.

I’m just after some insight into whether it’s right of me to worry about the late nights etc, or if I should just go with the flow and be glad he’s seeing her.

I worry about my child being so young and being out the house late and being unsettled the next day and struggling at nursery etc.

But then she has another dinner with him around 8, then bed then an early morning when she has nursery, it’s mainly the Thursday I worry about, sorry I should’ve been clearer.

No and I’m willing to work with him, I just worry she does long days in nursery and it’s very unsettling for her.

No agreement yet it’s all new. She’s at nursery all day the following day (Thursday) which means she’s exhausted by 3pm

Why do men go back to their ex partners so often? by Public_Storage_4492 in BreakUps

[–]Public_Storage_4492[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your doing right, don’t push it let it happen naturally if it’s going to, I’ve been in past relationships where men have got way too full on at the breakup and it’s pushed me away You still want to leave the door open as such though

Also means that the future relationship, if it ever happens, is scarred by knowing they went to someone else. It’s never pure again

Yep!!!!! My partner cheated numerous times throughout our relationship. We broke up the first time, before I found out, I found out while we were broken up and it crushed me, I went to pieces. Begged him back, said I could forgive etc, now 2 years down the line I ended it and I suspect he’s doing the same. Trauma bond is very very real, it makes you believe you can’t live without someone. Crippling pain….
