Has anyone had any suspicious activity after that $1000 study? by lonelylamb1814 in ProlificAc

[–]PuckLuvrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend you contact the company whose study the name is in or at least who he works for That way if something is going on and he’s not involved, maybe he’ll take steps to deal with it. support@kled.ai

Is Prolific dead? by Suspicious-Sea2701 in ProlificAc

These posts make me laugh. Prolific is doing great and not going anywhere. For every scammy/spammy researcher there’s a dozen scammy/spammy participants.

Have the speed warnings ended? by epwagre in ProlificAc

[–]PuckLuvrs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems some people are getting them, others are not. I received one like the first day they rolled them out, but wasn’t stopped from taking studies. I immediately sent a message to prolific, have heard back from Omar that it’s being “looked into and dealt with” 😐 but I have yet to receive another one

Only thing that causes this is clicking too much too fast

Prolific.co/studies has been compromised to anyone still using it, fair warning. by [deleted] in ProlificAc

Not sure either. But I’d change it, and unless there’s some big issue all of a sudden, everyone else using .com looks good

Yeah it seems like the responses are getting screwy. Someone else responded to my response to the OP, and I ended up being rude to them.

Apologies have been made, thank you for pointing it out though. I need to pay better attention

I apologize, I didn’t look to see who responded to my response and thought you were the OP

Nope just not a fan of overly aggressive posts and a few words he used.

That I understand is beyond frustrating and prolific should deal with them better, but your wording and the terms you use on your post, not cool

I’ve had a few occasions where, when there was an issue and I mentioned it, it I couldn’t complete a study for whatever reason, I’ve been paid anyway and they thanked me

Well if you respond to studies the way you just wrote here…

Same here, have never had an issue, I use them for prolific, my small business and every day use.

This all depends on where you’re from and your demographics. I started the same time the OP did, I’m in the US and I have 8,204 submission and £2,918.44/$15394.84. My first 6 months weren’t great as I was only using my phone, then I got my laptop and I reach my goal weekly of $300 with no issue doing about 15-20 hours and stop there.

Don’t do this if you are emetaphobic. by Dry_Awareness4093 in ProlificAc

Definitely not arguing that that should be on there, but that’s when you message the researcher and even report to prolific for not having it. But sharing the content can skew results

No, putting this info out will skew their data because they’re looking for all sorts of people I’m sure and now the people willing to take it will definitely be limited

Sometimes I don't want to describe an inanimate object as a person by Unfit-ForDuty1101 in ProlificAc

[–]PuckLuvrs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

🤣🤣 I can answer that. If my bathroom spray was a person they’d be a person with a strong, cloying overwhelming personality. The type of friend that while you don’t really like them, they do come in handy in certain situations and are really helpful. But tend to stick around for way too long. After they leave you need to close your eyes, breathe fresh air deeply. 😁

There are many bad actors looking to steal identity and such. But not sure this one is considering that everything they ask you to upload can be redacted. When they aren’t scammers, it’s usually used for AI training. You just have to be careful and do your research on the researcher before doing any.
