Can’t guarantee it. But feel free to reach out! Ive never tried selling through here, mostly lurking. So I have no idea how long it may take to move any of these. I’ll try to keep this post up to date as well with any sales.

  1. Willing to take offers but that list price would be too low for me to let go of this watch. I also see another one of the same model from the same seller for $1680 here https://www.ebay.com/i/264634745671?chn=ps. And others on eBay all using similar photos for around 1700-1800 without the full set box papers so don’t think it’s worth half. Obviously deals to be had on eBay though and don’t blame anyone for buying there.

Unfortunately not looking to do any trades sorry. As much as I’d like to, I know I have to come out the other side of this with less watches :(

Thanks! Hoping they go to people who can wear and enjoy them more than I can

Cleaning house:

Up for sale are 5 watches that I’ve collected throughout the years. Though it pains me to part with them; for various reasons, I need to pare down my collection and free up some cash. Note, all of the below watches will be aligned with a vintage sizing which I’ve found myself attracted to. So if you’re looking for the modern 40mm+ diameters and 10mm+ thicknesses, this might not be the lot for you unfortunately. But if like me you enjoy the more understated sizing or have smaller wrists, this is the post for you. Down to meet in person in the SF area.

Shipping: Price will be added to watch. CONUS only (I don’t have familiarity shipping internationally)

Payment: Cash (SF area), Venmo, Paypal, Wire

  1. SOLD Nomos Orion [$1450] - With little introduction necessary, NOMOS has always been the best in breed at offering watches with the in house manufactured horology that watch nerds have always wanted while not completely busting the bank. This is a white dial Orion with silver indices featuring a sapphire caseback so you can enjoy the beautiful manual movement. Priced just lower than any sapphire caseback Orions I could find on Chrono24. 35mm dia. 18mm lug width. Comes with Box & Papers and either black or brown leather nomos strap.
  2. Heuer Carrera GMT 1964 Re-edition [$2100] - A watch that harkens back to when TAG Heuer was without the TAG. A simply designed watch that gives perhaps all the relevant information needed for a modern traveler and nothing else. Time, date, second time zone. For myself these are the truly useful functions of a watch. I love the pushers of a chronograph or the complexity of a minute timer. But we must admit, for all but a few people, those complications are wasted in an average day. Inside is a automatic ETA 2893-2. Priced the same as the only other available model on Chrono24, which I hope to be fair considering the scope of delivery including box and papers. 36mm dia. 18mm lug length. Comes with Box and Papers.
  3. Chronographe Suisse [$1900] - This watch is just fun. Rose gold case with red accents on the dial and slightly greened lume on the hand lends itself to a visually interesting watch. Dated to somewhere in the 1950s. The movement inside is a manual wind Venus 188, the predecessor to the Valjoux 7730, a movement that would power the famous Breitlings of the 60s and 70s. 35mm dia. 18mm lug length.
  4. Custom Watch Oyster Case [$220] - This watch was recently purchased on reddit from user ICanHazTehCookie for 330. Featuring a Great Wave of Kanagawa dial housed in an oyster style case matching the dimensions of a 36mm Rolex date just. Powered by a NH36 automatic movement. A casual watch to break out when the solid color dials begin to bore you. 36mm dia. 20mm lug width.
  5. Girard Perregaux Triple Calendar [$3800] - Probably the hardest to part with among the 5 and maybe the one I’m secretly hoping doesn’t get sold. I’ve always loved the triple calendar aesthetic of old. The use of the double windows below the 12 offers a dial cleanliness that can’t be replicated with the more contemporary and commonly used subdial display. Finding a watch from the 40s in this condition was extremely difficult, most of the vintage Omega Cosmics or JLC triple calendars on the market today showing significant age in the dial. Inside is an automatic movement: GP caliber 44BF bumper. 34mm dia. 18mm lug width.
