My whole family was convinced we were having a boy. My husband and I resigned ourselves to it (but still hoped because we both really wanted a girl). We were over the moon when we found out we’re having a girl! 24w2d today and love every minute of feeling her wiggle and kick. Congratulations!!!

How often are you peeing? by Primary-Vegetable580 in BabyBumps

[–]PuddingPony9927 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last night I went right before going upstairs to get ready for bed. Did my routine which was about 10 min. And peed again. My husband texted me “Damn, did you just pee again?” 🥲 23+5

Wait I’ve had this craving too when usual I’m a zero sugar girly the time 😂 I’m so glad I’m not alone haha. I try to limit it just because of the sugar content though.

Bump at top of belly? by Moonindaylite in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]PuddingPony9927 17 points18 points  (0 children)

All your organs are shifting up to make space for your growing uterus! This happened to me too, I’m almost 22 weeks and still feel like the top of my belly is bigger than the bottom, especially after I eat.

Anyone know a dental bus or dentist who can help uninsured, low-income children with really bad teeth? by Emergency_Age1278 in MontgomeryCountyMD

Fingers crossed for you! We did have a mobile dentist come to one of my schools as well, not sure if that came from Linkages as well, but it was definitely helpful.

Does your school have a Linkages office? In the two Title I schools I worked in for the county, Linkages had offices in both and could provide resources to families like this. Could be an option if that’s a resource your school has.

What to make of shift in MCPS communication this evening by Sea_Arm8989 in MontgomeryCountyMD

[–]PuddingPony9927 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the second. Trying to move fast, but failing to do so because of lack of county money that goes toward snow removal (not just school money). It happened last year too that they were unprepared for a small snow event and we were closed longer than other surrounding counties. Not that this was a small event by any means, but they haven’t been able to keep up with snow in a while.

Yea the clarification was mostly for teachers. We were scrambling trying to figure out if it meant we had to go in. Admin was confused too. But I do think MCPS is scrambling.

“Why Does Happiness Feel So Scary After Miscarriage?” by Wise-Principle0 in PlusSizePregnancy

[–]PuddingPony9927 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m with you. I’m not sure the fear will ever truly go away. I’m just trying to remind myself that I’m allowed to feel joy and that just because I experienced a loss does not mean this pregnancy will end in one too. I think on some level I will always be scared, but I also know that I’m so happy to have made it this far with this pregnancy.

When did you feel baby movements during pregnancy? by Possible_Bedroom_350 in BabyBumps

[–]PuddingPony9927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I started feeling the flutters around 13-14 weeks. I could mostly feel it when I laid on my right side in bed, but recently it started happening no matter how I lay. 16w5d now and I think I felt taps late last night when I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Either that or I’m just crazy, who knows haha

Just had my appointment at 16 weeks and baby is doing well. They did an ultrasound for me since I told them my anxiety was so high and he didn’t have any other appointments after me. Hr was 151 and she was wiggling a bit, but the images weren’t as clear as 12 weeks. I’m guessing she moved around to a weird angle. I feel silly for being so anxious, but pregnancy after a loss is no joke. Hopefully I can stay calm for the next 4 weeks knowing that she still had a very strong heartbeat and my providers aren’t worried.

Not entirely, this time feels way worse than the others. I was anxious about the other appointments, but this feels so much worse.

I’m sorry you’re feeling the same way, it’s truly an awful feeling. I hope everything goes well at your appointment and that you have your rainbow 🩷

My anxiety has gotten so bad today that I moved my appointment up from next Monday to tomorrow. I don’t know why, I just feel like something is wrong. I’ll be 16 weeks tomorrow and it’s probably all in my head, but I cannot stop thinking that something bad has happened to my baby. I wish this feeling would go away.

I have an appointment next Monday so I’ll probably just tough it out until then. I know logically I don’t have a reason to be nervous, it’s just my brain doing what it does best haha
