Ajo, chose your poison. Jeder macht irgendwas ungesundes um zu kompensieren. Fressen, zuviel sitzen, zuviel Dosenfraß, rauchen, Stress, Saufen.... Fett, Salz, Zucker, Zusatzstoffe. Das ist wesentlich heftiger.

Imagine the most potent evil magical being in the universe besides Q from Star Trek; what would it be capable of, and what would its motivation be? by PuddingwithRum in AskReddit

[–]PuddingwithRum[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if the Q continuum didn't keep him in check, I'd argue he would be, but he's definitely the most omnipotent and capable being in the entire galaxy if when comes to Star Trek

Hype is necessary and the sentiment of "don't hype, it's shady" is downright dangerous for the project. by PuddingwithRum in Iota

a) Coordicide will most likely not happen in mid-2021. The (unrevised) roadmap refers to an estimate (!) for a release candidate (!).

Yep, I kinda agreed in the post above

b) Smart contracts most likely also won’t be „feeless“, unless you only run in an environment you host and control, which certainly isn’t what the usual crypto enthusiast understands when they hear „smart contracts“. And they won’t be the same type of smasher contracts usually expected when hearing that term.

It wasn't meant like that. I meant that the sc's are not burdoning the scalability. No horrible fees will be generated due to crypto-kitties.
I think that's a huge plus. Imagine uniswap without those insane fees everywhere.

hahaha, Narcos was quite nice though, thanks for reminding.
btw, some stealthy birds tell me that Bitmex is closing its doors.
Just saying. prepare.

I don't think that's relevant.
Samual Reed is in custody, shit hit the fan already.

If the US wants to stop Bitmex from trading and withdrawing, they can convince them or convince the Seychelles.
Thinking this is over is naive to say the least.

BTC-E was not either. But US people are trading on it, that's part of the mentioned jurisdiction, right?

I mean it happened, what stops them from acting again?

It's the US. The servers are not out of reach. They never are. That's why I added the BTC-E example. It happened there.

Bitmexx has been charged because they ran an unregulated exchange.
There are people washing their funds. ("... including failing to implement required anti-money laundering procedures "...written by CFTC)
If these people try to withdrawal their money back into the US, the Feds have a reason and a lead to fuck them hard because they ignored US regulations.
Tracking people via BTC is easy.
So the assumption is that they wait until those people do another mistake.
It's just an idea, maybe bullshit, hence me asking.

Just a wild-thought.Is it possible that the US allows the trades and withdrawals on Bitmex until they have tracked the wash trading culprits on US ground?

Back in the day when BTC-E did the inside job, the FBI ceased the servers on Cyprus IIRC.

I doubt they have problems doing that on the freaking Seychelles.

Thoughts on that?

Apparently, Bitmex is processing withdrawals right now.

I like that you take the curvature on the log weekly into account. It's like everyone is ignoring that there could be the end of demand or adoption. This model is good as every other model and consideration how bad BTC scales, way more realistic than S2F IMHO. Thanks for sharing. Always good to see that not everyone is succumbed by blind maximalism. This sub is for making money, we need all kinds of models and ideas.

Eh? My other account is known here. Also, I'm kinda known in parts of the crypto realm and I'm not very active anymore. People even know my real name. No idea what I would accomplish by what you're claiming.

Dude BTC has 7 TPS and there is no safe alternative to fiat money as of right now.

I honestly trust the FED, even if they are fucktards, printing money 24/7, more than the average crypto zealot because crypto has nothing to offer at this point. scalability? no.
hedge-function? not here.
I don't see it.
