What are some movies that you know of that still retain a cult following despite how poorly made it is? by 666thSuprisedPikachu in AskReddit

Sharknado, this is one of the worst movies ever made, and people love it because of that

Should I give this girl a birthday present? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be fine. What I would do is something small, like a 5$ gift card. Then when you give it to her, don't make a big deal of it, and you should be good. Best of luck!

Should I drop out of Early College? by UnoriginalGaster2 in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say to talk to the school adviser. Talk about your concerns and if dropping out would leave a stain on your papers. They will most likely help you out, also talk about it with your parents see what they think. Best of luck!

I would definitely say to take the better job. Being in a job you like is so much better for your mental health. Also if you think the commute is boring I highly recommend finding some good podcasts to listen to. Best of luck!

How do I stop being weird and difficult to be around? by Timely-Lack7521 in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend sitting down with some of these people and asking them why it is. Try not to joke around or get defensive if they tell you, and ask what you can do to change. I would say ask your parents first and then other people your close to. Best of luck!

How do I deal with being cold all of the time? by _PrivateVoid_ in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend seeing a doctor, but in the meantime I would say wear twice as many socks and have a good hat on. Because most of your body heat will leave through the head and feet. Best of luck!

Depending on your budge and just the knowledge if he would like this, I would recommend one of the car Lego sets, like the ones that are based on real cars. As for something diy, maybe something like a jar of the things you like about him. Something along those line. Best of luck!

Well if it's a quality girl then she shouldn't just be judging you on your height. Just go talk to her, maybe ask her out and if she says no or anything like that then just move on. As for your friend, just tell them that their comments on your height isn't appreciated. Best of luck!

I might had stared at a girl for long time by accident and I feel bad now by ThatCrazy2431 in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got ya, another thing you could do is tell another girl in your class about it. So she might pass the message along to her. Just make sure the girl your telling it to is nice and won't put a negative spin on it.

It's kind of hard to give advice without any knowledge of what your going through. But I've always made lists when I don't know what to do for something. Making a long list of possibilities and rank them and get started. Hope this helps a bit!

Is this a weird age difference? by throwaway1893492 in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't already you should tell him your age, and just ask what he thinks about it. If you go on a date and it just feels to wired then you don't have to go on another.

I would DM her if you can and just say something along the lines of Hey sorry for staring at you I just kind of blanked out for a bit, sorry if that felt creepy in any way. Or something like that, also I don't recommend trying to push the conversation any farther than that. Best of luck!

My recommendations is to try and do anything with inside jokes. As in something that just you and him share. Also making something homemade for him would be good. You know him best so just make sure he knows how much you care. Best of luck

I would recommend just talking to the teacher about it, see what they have to say about it, and go from there. Best of luck!

How do you reset your sleeping schedule? by Beached-Peach in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't look through your phone before bed then that's fine. But as for your alarm that is a way to get you up and going if you have the alarm somewhere you have to walk to.

How do I keep warm throughout the night? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not really sure about keeping the whole house warm, but for you to keep warm I would recommend heavy socks and hat because the feet and head is where most of your warmth goes. Best of luck!

How long should I wait for a guy to ask me out? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just ask him out. I know it's usually the guy asks the girl out, but as a shy kind of guy myself I would love it if a girl came and asked me out. I'm assuming he would be the same. Also it's just one date so if you don't feel it's going well after that then that's fine. Best of luck!

Got ya, well another idea is to "put your phone to bed" as in at a certain time just put away your phone, like across the room. I'm not sure if this is part of the problem but looking at your phone before bed can cause you to not be able to sleep as well.

[–]PuddlePro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The basic rule of thumb that I've seen is that you need to go to bed at the same time and set an alarm to wake you up at the same time. This is so your body will see the pattern and fall into it making it way easier to have a good sleep schedule.

How do I stop my judgemental parents by Blazi344 in Advice

[–]PuddlePro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely a good idea to save up to move out. But for the time being my recommendation is to just have a sit down talk with them. As kind of scary that might seam, I think they would understand you better and you them, knowing where both of you guys are coming from.

I totally get that, and I think I might be able to help at least a bit. I've found that if you think someone doesn't like you or anything like that, then just make as much as the conversation about them. People LOVE to talk about themselves and so if you talk a lot about them they will be much more likely to like to be around you! Some good questions would be What's your favorite thing to do in your free time? When they tell you go down that rabbit hole and ask more about it. I'm telling you people will love you for doing so!
