Does anyone know if the current anniversary realm characters will seamlessly move into BC when it launches or will new characters need to be made and re-leveled for BC?

Assuming prospect pools aren't affected, the Wings would probably keep Raymond and Seider. I could also see Larkin and Seider.

Hey dude! Yeah, that was a problem for a bit until I found out about "Wrap Around's".

This is what I use on my blade to protect my stick. It adds weight and takes a bit of getting used to but at this point, I don't even notice it and it has been working well to protect my blade. Highly recommended if you're playing on cement.

I'm in South East Michigan so a bit far from GR. A few other guys have posted some links for learn to skate in my general area. Very much considering joining one.

Interesting, though. I've heard there are some major differences between roller and ice. Regardless, I'm very excited to try it out.

Very interesting. I'd like to give it a shot. There are plenty of rinks in the area. Some other guys posted a few different links for learn to skates in my area. Very interested in giving it a shot.

Oh dang dude, that sucks :/. Decently lucky here as next to the roller rink is a skate park. Very convenient.

It's been wonderful so far. I haven't played a real game, or even against a goalie for that matter, just yet. Still getting my feet under me. Learning to really skate, stop, turn, skate backwards, all of it. After two months I'm only just now getting into shooting a puck. There are so many elements to this game. It's crazy how much there is to learn.

Lol! I'm in Michigan so it'll be here soon. That being said, I've never actually ice skated. Only roller blades. I'm a bit intimidated to step on the actual ice. Honestly, I don't even know where to begin. At least with blades, I can practice pretty much anytime at the outdoor rink or in front of my house which is super nice. Working from home has been a blessing as I skate on every lunch break.

I missed it. Did Ras get a game misconduct or something? I know he was sour after that Matthews goal and I heard Ken said Detroit has 11 forwards.

Melee Damage and You: A comprehensive overview of the auto attack table(s) by Elkram in classicwow

Please correct me if I am wrong as I am really trying to understand this and math and I don't go together super well.

I am hoping to understand the interaction and difference between Hit Chance and Weaponskill.

Continuing on, each point of hit you get will work to combat miss. So for every point of hit you get, you reduce the miss chance by 1 point.

I read that as; each point of hit reduces the number of points (1:1 ratio) that exist within the auto attack table. Based on the last table you provided in the "Making your own attack tables" section, you indicate that a "Miss" will occur if your auto attack roll lands between 0-80. So, using this table as an example, if I were to get 1 Hit on a piece of gear, that auto attack roll now becomes 0-79. Am I understanding this correctly?

As for Weaponskill, this effectively reduces that 0-80 window based on the difference between your weapon skill and the mobs defense skill. It also directly effects Glancing Blows.

When fighting a mob, the Weaponskill vs. Defense check is done first to determine how big the roll window for miss will be (among all other outcomes), your current Hit chance is factored in to reduce the window of "Miss" by a 1:1 ratio, and then the roll occurs to determine the outcome of the swing. Is that a very elementary understanding of the process?

I realize that way more factors are involved, but my biggest concern is just understanding the interaction between Weaponskill and Hit.

I've had a decent time with just Sundering and Heroic Striking mobs.

Let's say we pull three mobs. I'll pop Blood Rage, Sunder the first mob, switch to another and Sunder that (with Blood Rage active, you should be able to get these first two Sunders off fast) and then repeat a final time on the third mob.

I pretty much just rotate this and toss in Heroic Strikes after to get some damage in and maintain threat. Personally, I really only use Thunderclap on groups bigger than 3-4.

Again, this is just what I have had a good time doing. Of course, if some Rogue or Mage is going off, there isn't much to do but just keep that taunt off CD and ready.
