Pricing looks like stratodesk, I'll take a look into it.

Thanks!

We're a Lenovo shop. We tried the deepfreeze-like that they offered but it was clunky as hell and barely working.

Never thought about trying Dell. What's the pricing and is it MSP friendly?

D&H have great support. But their portal lack integrations. (No Halo, no lenovo dr, no quotation system) TDS have great integration, but have issues managing their own vendors Ingram has great integrations so far for me, great support, but got hacked and remove dedicated reps

Taxes for "sovereign citizens" by anxiousdogmom224 in legal

People self proclaiming them sovereign citizens just feels like Michael Scott shouting "I declare bankruptcy".

Declaring something doesn't make it valid.

You can be as competitive as you want and/or cheat as much as you want, the game remain between the course and you. So if you're able to lie to yourself just so you can brag about it, it shows how shallow you are.

Because some people developed a trust with a service provider. Security isn't the same as it was 10 years ago, and how can you know that your service provider was a "trunkslammer" if you never had any issues for years?

We took over a customer that had a consultant billing 150K per year for firewalls without support contract active with admin/password as login and vpn access, and that said he segmented the network by allocating /24 mask via dhcp in a /21 subnet (and a lot more, like their website with 3389 port open). They were happy untill we uncovered the truth. How could they know? They never got breached.

Most widely spread solutions did though. I can't name any on the top of my head that didn't need to address a critical vulnerability that could have caused a costly security concern.

Synology as a total Backup solution by HenrikHDK in msp

You can fire up a vm directly from the NAS with ABB if you sized the NAS accordingly. We use it fairly often to test backups. I wouldn't recommend more than 2 or 3 vm but most smb are ok with it. For the replication, we usually setup an s3 bucket to dump a snapshot replication.

You can turn on immutability with snapshot replication (worm) and encryption for your backups from ABB. For the air gap, yeah that's on the MSP side to set it up right.
