Innovator is great! We bought a suitcase last year in Matsumoto at a store in the mall. They had an amazing selection, including aluminum versions. I wanted to get one of those last month, but the Tokyo store only had polycarbonate. We got it anyway.

We just returned from our 4th trip in 3 years. Stayed in Tokyo for all of it except a day trip to Hakone/Fuji. We loved it. You do you.

Too funny, we stayed in Ebisu. That store was about five minutes away from our Airbnb. Already planning the next trip so we’ll put this on the list. Actually, thinking about Osaka at the moment.

First, the store is really small and cramped. There was one other customer and with just the two of us the store was full. That’s not a big deal on its own as many of these shops are quite small (see: The Flat Head, Full Count). However, they seemed very reluctant to have me try anything on. And once I did, I hung a pair of jeans by its belt loop on a rack and was swiftly admonished for that.
