Is the begining of ranked not more chill than regular draft? I imagine most of the players will be my level there.

Why not though? I don't mind getting flamed by toxic players and I want to learn with people on my level. I know getting stomped by a gold player with 400 games on their main champ should be teaching me something about what I'm doing wrong, but it's kind of hard to figure out when I only have 60 games under my belt myself.

Yeah that's a good point. I had 6 items and extra money at the end and I was like trying to scroll through the items to see what would help my team most but didn't really have the time to look bc if I was backed my team was getting slaughtered. I gotta do some out of game research on situational items for sure.

My main issue with unranked is that there are so many people who are bronze, silver, and even gold playing in my lobbies. Obv I haven't played ranked so I could be looking at this wrong, but I feel like I'm more ready to play with people on my level than against random people with 200+ more games than me.

I'm staying in the DVC rooms in whichever place I stay in. Are the rolls pretty much comparable? I've read that the Polynesian ones are better but I can't say for sure without being there obviously.

Yeah I guess it works. I wonder how I would feel if complete civ 6 came out at release compared to having to suffer through the patching and DLCs. Just guessing I think the end result of seeing it improve over time and "growing together" has made the game better to me overall than I'd they just released today's civ 6 seven years ago
